*AVOID AT ALL COSTS*

Took my Sprinter up here for a reconditioned engine. They had my van for over 2 months, and still didn't get it running. They didn't even do a diagnostic check on it, I had to pay a third party to scan it.

If I had visited their site before, no way would I have used them. Their garage is an absolute tip. Didn't even have a ramp, they were working outside in the rain, with my van up on blocks (wheels).

They'd damaged the oil seal (as someone else has mentioned them doing), not tightened the injectors properly & left my new clutch out in the rain.

MACC have no respect for your property. Absolute cowboys.

I have received awful customer service, and nightmare communication with these slippery guys. They are scammers.
I had a really terrible experience with MACC UK Ltd. They have the worst customer service ever and are not ethical in their practices. Dealing with them is like a minefield of dishonesty and incompetence. They overcharged me and made false promises. I had to wait for 10 months to get my car which was delivered damaged in the end, causing me to lose nearly £15,000. It was a total nightmare. I even had to pay extra for insurance due to their negligence.

Guarantees mean nothing to this company;

They don't care about keeping their promises or making sure their customers are happy. They are totally untrustworthy and unreliable. I strongly advise against any interaction with MACC UK Ltd. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them at all costs. They have proven themselves to be untrustworthy, unreliable, and detrimental to anyone who crosses their path.

Not even worth 1 star. I never usually bother writing reviews but i think that it is important that people know to AVOID this company. Claim to recondition gearboxes. The box that arrived had nothing done to it apart from being painted silver. 2 months to get a replacement sent out and low and behold it was exactly the same as the 1st. Looks like they just packaged up the same unfit for purpose box,as upon fitting the gear ratios were wrong exactly like the first they sent. Numerous lies, refused a refund, accused of harassment when we asked for a refund. 6 months of hassle and cost. Managed to get back most of our money but only by going through paypal as this company had no interest once they had taken our money. It is a disgrace that companies like this get away with it. Obvious that they treat customers like this regularly. Please do read all the google reviews as i found a few that had almost the same issues as us. AVOID!!!!!!!!

Do not buy from these scammers
I bought a rebuilt engine in October. They lied about the delivery date, and the engine was unfit for use and failed within 4 days.. When approached for redress, they were initially derisive and offensively abusive, then offered a partial refund if I removed an honest eBay review. The refund never materialised. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid them at all costs.

Purchased reconditioned gearbox from this company. Extremely pleased with item, everything as described. Exchange unit refunded after 9 x days as promised. Great company and all the staff from the owners to staff friendly and helpful. My 'go to' company now for any transmission units. Thank you so much.

Do not buy from these scammers. If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a 'reconditioned' engine in good faith. They lied about the delivery date, and the engine was not fit for purpose, not as described, and failed after 4 days. When we tried to discuss a partial refund they became very abusive. Be warned.
