Extremely friendly and helpful - talked me through some basic troubleshooting, explained the likely cause of the issue my set was facing, and what their recommended course of action would be (which wasn't a route which led to them having any paid work).

Really can't fault the service received, and would definitely recommend them to others!

Fantastic service, very knowledgeable and helpful. My TV was broken and Andy explained how to diagnose the issue, which included taking the TV back plate off (mine had no screws). This was all communicated over the phone. I had great success and managed not to break anything, also I was able to fix the TV which I'm very happy about. Would definitely use his expertise again. Highly recommend.

We called about the issue of our LG TV. We don't claim to understand everything about TVs, but the potential problem was initially identified by the LG technical team. When we explained the issue (as was described to us by LG), the guy on the phone, Andy, made fun of us and talked to us in a very condescending way. He was extremely rude on the phone and hung up the phone on me while I was trying to explain the problem. I have no idea how such unprofessional people with no customer service skills could run businesses which is all about customer's needs! Feel sorry for him in the first place and I hope the company can find a better representative.

Also, let's add to this review that the owner is a LIAR, big time! And very clear from the respose, what kind of person you are dealing with.

Had a 2011 Panasonic LCD TV which suddenly stopped working and tried various internet suggestions before sending Andy an email. Received a call back the next day, first thing where Andy talked me through the fix. I now have a fully working TV again which is pretty vital for sanity during this lockdown.

Pretty excellent service if you ask me and I would highly recommend Andy.

Called Andy when our 13-year-old Panasonic TV kept conking out. He said it was too old to be worth spending money on, but also instructed me as to how I might take the back off so as to clean and oil the fans myself. I followed his instructions, and hey presto, TV working perfectly again! That's what I call service!

Fully recommend Abingdon TV for all tv problems. Andy fixed my old TV in no time at a fair reasonable price. So many old TV's are thrown away which is such a waste. People waste money on 2-3 year insurance policies, but TV's tend to go wrong 5-10 years later, that's when you need Andy.
