I have used these guys twice, first was to get a pair of leather shoes cleaned and polished. They came back looking way better than expected! Took about a week, but I didn't ask for a specific timeline. A friend of mine managed to get a pair of boots repaired same day so I think they can do things quickly if necessary.
Secondly, I got some car keys cut. I was apprehensive at first as the keys needed were from the 80s. By a miracle they had them in stock and they work perfectly.
The guys running the shop are friendly and always willing to help.

I can't say enough good things about George @achilles heels. My brand new designer purse was in my bag and a perfume bottle decided to leak all over it, stripping it of its beautiful color. Cue the dramatic music—my heart sank!

I took it to a few places and they could not help me. But then came George, the superhero! Not only did he work his magic and restore my purse to its former glory, but he also provided same-day service. George is truly amazing at what he does—my purse looks even better than before!

Recently visited London for a gig. As I was leaving the hotel the zip on my gig bag broke. We passed Achilles Heels on the way to meet up at a pub. I popped in and they fixed it on the spot. Really friendly service (even charged my phone for me); excellent job done and very reasonably priced. Thank you so much ❤️

Outstanding service from George & team Achilles Heels. My daughter's strap handle broke on her carryon tote somewhere between Heathrow and/or one of the tube stations. It was likely "overstuffed" and weighted down which caused the strap to break. 😝 We were concerned about lugging the tote bag back to Heathrow with only 1 working strap & what if that one broke?!? 🥺 George sent us off for coffee & told us to come back in 30min. They reattached the broken strap & adjusted the good strap so the handles were the same length AND reinforced ALL of the straps!! We truly appreciate the extra effort & quick turn around time as we were only in the area for the day. Thanks George!! ~cheers

They were several days late (and made me run back and forth across town 4x after giving me various new timelines for repair they failed to meet) in doing the repairs. When they were done, they were poor quality repairs, with glue still showing in places and the seams were loose. Bad quality service all around.

They did a fantastic job in stretching my cowboy boots. Could not get in at all and brought it to another cobbler first who said Id have to cut them to get them to fit and insert a zipper. They finally fit now after Achilles Heels did their magic. Couldn't be happier and will definitely be back!

Absolutely awful. I left my bag with 4 clearly marked seams to sew up, with him 5 weeks ago and he said it will take a week to sew up and cost me £40 just to sew up a canvas small backpack. He seemed really nice so I thought its a little pricy but I wanted a nice finish so I gave him £20 depost and left it with him. I called 2 weeks later he said its still not done. I gave it another 2 weeks and called he said he will get it done next week for sure. I went back he showed me as you can see only 1 out of the 4 seams was done. The strap is back to front, he opened up another seam, which was the wrong side for the strap. I gave him £20 depost and he promised to do that whole job for 40. He only did one of the 4 seams, opened another wrong seam, was 4 weeks late, still kept my depost, and would not give me my bag back, kept going on an on about how hard this job is, wanted more money to finish. I had to bag and plea to get my own bag back because he just does not want to let me have it back. I trusted him and believed him its a hard job and was just going to sew it back up myself by hand. Next day I went pass another bag repare shop another street and asked them to have a look, they only charged me £10 and they sew up my whole bag beautifully in 10min. Nothing hard at all. This Achilles guy was just using me and because he thought I will pay more to let him finish. AVOID this place. Complete scam! Always go somewhere else and get another opinion because this guy will act really sweet and keep talking to you just to get more money out of you!
