I write this review reluctantly as I wanted to be wrong about my instincts when using this garage. Whilst they’re rough around the edges, and I didn’t want to judge, they are friendly enough. But the last few fixes they’ve done on my car have been problematic and I’ve had to end up taking it back so the problems could be rectified (forgetting to replace brake light on a service, misaligned hubcaps so I couldn’t pump air into my tyres etc). However these are minor compared to my recent issue where I paid £550 to have my heating fixed which then stopped working again a month later. When I took it back to enquire as to why they told me I needed to spend £900 to repair further. They also told me other things that turned out to be completely false. I’ve since taken my car to a trusted family friend in London who have incidentally picked up a couple of potentially dangerous things that they failed to see in the service.

I know it’s convenient to go here as there’s no other services in north oxford. But please don’t go here just for convenience sake, as I did. Take the time to go to cowley where there are many other reputable garages. I’d been warned about these guys by a few people who are particularly annoyed with the way they dupe women (and others who know little about cars). I don’t know if it’s just bad workmanship, shoddy attention to detail or something more malicious. But do yourselves a favour and go somewhere else!

I have used them a couple of times and each time they have been great, well priced, really friendly and done a good job. This time they sorted an engine warning lamp and other electrical problems on the spot..very impressed.
