After being stranded in Barton Stacey when my taxi broke down, Andover Cars LTD truly came to the rescue. The garage owner and staff were absolutely amazing, taking in my car and repairing it in record time. Despite the challenging situation, I had my car back by Monday, which was a huge relief as I live in Cornwall.

The level of service I received was outstanding. The staff were professional, kind, and went above and beyond to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Their prices are very reasonable, and the quality of work is top-notch.

It’s a shame I don’t live locally because this would absolutely be my first choice of garage for any repairs or maintenance. I can’t recommend them highly enough—excellent service, fantastic staff, and great value.

Disgusting!
I am 42 years old and have driven in many countries throughout my life. Although I thought the worst experiences I’d encountered were from the former USSR 20-25 years ago, I can unequivocally say that this place is the worst I have ever come across.
I went there because of their high rating, but this cannot be true, as one of the key staff members is dreadful and clearly incapable of change. In my opinion, deceptive practices may have been used to inflate their rating.
Here’s what happened: I scheduled an appointment over the phone for 9:00 AM. I informed them that I was coming from another city and asked if I could wait in the office while my car was being serviced. I was assured this would be fine and was told that the service would take about 2-3 hours.
I arrived at 8:58 AM, but no one was present until 9:09 AM. While at the reception, I called their own phone but only heard ringing phones nearby, with no one arriving from other areas. When a staff member named Chris eventually appeared, he asked me to wait a little longer. No apologies for the delay, but I accepted it. I stayed until 9:52 AM with no staff in the office, and I wasn’t even given the Wi-Fi password. When I grew tired of waiting, I decided to look for someone in the garages. I’m not sure I can describe what I saw behind the scenes, but it’s best left to specialists to investigate.
When Chris reappeared, I asked why it was taking so long, and he immediately responded with something that could be translated as: "If you don’t like it, just pi$$ off." What I was honestly stunned. After some verbal exchanges, Chris said he didn’t like me from the start because I asked too many questions over the phone. Note: I had only asked two questions—how long it would take and an approximate cost. That’s all!
Even setting aside the technical issues I inadvertently witnessed, the level of rudeness from someone clearly in a significant position is beyond the pale. The disregard for customers’ time becomes a secondary issue.
I tried to find out some information about the owner of the station but only heard the name Žydrunas from another customer. Unfortunately, these individuals have brought poor service into the old good England, and they do not deserve to have clients. I am deeply embarrassed!
Avoid this place at all costs.

I needed two new tyres for my motorhome and they changed them quickly and for a great price too. I made a mistake with the size but they sorted the problem! 🙂

Highly recommended. I had lots of issues with my car that previous garages weren’t able to fix. They diagnosed the problems very fast and had it fixed on the same day. Great price as well.
