I had an extremely disappointing experience at this phone repair shop and would strongly advise others to avoid it.
I initially went in to have the broken screen on my iPhone 13 Pro replaced and was charged £130. However, after the repair, the screen was faulty and did not function properly. Additionally, I noticed a significant decline in battery life, which had not been an issue before. The phone would not even last a morning on a single charge—a problem that only started after the screen replacement. When I returned to the shop to address these problems, I was only then informed that they used two types of non-original screens—one of lower quality and another of slightly better quality. Without informing me beforehand, they had installed the lowest-quality option.
At that point, the shop offered to replace the screen with the higher-quality one, but only if I paid an additional £30-40 (I no longer remember the exact amount due to how long this ordeal lasted). They also offered to swap it for another "lower"-quality screen at no extra cost. As for the battery issue, they refused to acknowledge any responsibility and only offered a solution if I paid an additional large sum for a new battery.
Frustrated with the entire experience and now dealing with a phone that could barely hold a charge, I decided to sell it instead of investing more money into fixing issues that were caused by their repair. The owner offered £195 but stated that I would have to wait a few days for the payment. Thankfully, I insisted on getting a written receipt confirming the agreed price. When I followed up days later, the owner suddenly "did not remember" the amount he had offered and wanted to renegotiate. After I provided the receipt, he acknowledged the price but then delayed payment again, first saying I needed to come to the shop in person, then promising a bank transfer by Monday—only for Monday (and several more days) to pass with no payment.
The following Monday, he again changed his terms, claiming he could only pay if I came to the shop. When I finally went in person, he stated that he could not sell the phone for what he originally thought and would only pay £175. At that point, I was exhausted by the back-and-forth, so I reluctantly accepted the lower amount just to put the situation behind me.
Overall, this shop is completely unreliable. The owner consistently withholds important information, changes his terms and prices at will, refuses to acknowledge problems caused by their repairs, and does not honour his own agreements. If you are considering getting a repair or selling a device here, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and find a more professional, trustworthy business.
