I always go here when I do small repairs at home because there is always what I need. For example, for laying ceramic tiles, there is all the glue and many small tools, including a tile cutting machine. And on the second floor you will find absolutely everything for the bathroom. Including the toilet. There is also a large selection of wood products, paints and car accessories. I recommend visiting and making sure that they sell plants for your garden.

£72 quids worth of paint arrived with both cans broken open. Contacted B and Q online - promised response. No response. Contacted them by phone - promised response. No response. Called AGAIN - promised response. Still waiting. Customer service is entirely useless, and each time seems to have to make an onward call to " the store" so everything is going through a proxy. "The Store" is now demanding the return of two three week old broken open pots of paint before they will consider refunding any money.

They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating beyond expectation. I had challenges with my order amd delivery and that too got resolved because of them. One stop shop for your DIY needs or for everything to ensure your house, garden flat is well maintained. It has range of products for Electrical, Hardware, Tools, Joinery, Paints, Tiles, etc. On the 1st floor they have created kitchen and bathroom concepts and also light fittings and lamps on display. The garden centre also has plenty of flowering plants as well as fruit trees well complimented by a good section for garden tools and accessories. Also ample parking space.

My review is aimed more at B&Q policy rather than the staff who are always friendly.

My issue is the website clearly states timber cutting is available whenever the store is open, every day. But it's not. It's dependent on if someone trained on it is working that day.

No issue though, I called up to ask if it was available and was told a specific day to come in.

I come in and then I'm told they don't cut tongue and groove chipboard as it's treated. That isn't mentioned anywhere on the site. Had to resort to buying a saw and doing it in the carpark to fit in my car. Came to B&Q even though the board was 25% more expensive over a different merchants specifically for the timber cutting.

Amazing staff that made me return to the store. Raj helped design our kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Great experience and purchase. Would definitely return to this store.

I would like to say thank you to an elderly employee called Praveen who happened to be at the end of his shift when he helped me take my tool I had just bought to my van. Very polite and nice gentleman
