Yet another click and collect failure, ready in hr hour you say, cool enough time for asda. So 1hr 1min later im entering the store, no message to say its ready, I walked around the store, past the the item I've come to collect, the only staff member around at this point was cleaning shelving. So I head to the checkout as its very much past 1hr. Upon asking about my item the male cashier Stuart told me that means someone is sorting it, he then sends of a clearly inexperienced staff member off to find my item, i have no issue with her, we all have to learn, she was gone forever so I went towards where the item was in case she needed assistance finding the item and she eventually returned with my item on a trolley. I then magically get a message to say my item is ready for collection. I still didn't actually have it as this point . So I finally get my item and am promptly dismissed by Stuart! who proceeds to ask the inexperienced member of staff if she'd like to do all the other click and collects they hadn't bothered to check, for well at well over 1 hr.

Please don't offer a service you can't do, the store was not busy the checkout had 2 people come through all the time I was waiting, but most importantly dont lie to me that someone's sorting my order when they are clearly not. If you had said sorry we've not checked the click and collect orders, we will get on it now, all would have been fine, I accept we all make mistakes and training people can overtake other parts of job, but just be honest.

I spoke to the customer service about the delivery issue for my online order and they transfer my call to the store. Lady i spoke with was very rude she didn’t listen and over spoke to me and put the phone down on me. I now paid twice £498 and will have to wait 14 days to get my money back. Costumer service has to be improved!!

Went in to look for something that was showing as readily available online. However nowhere to be found, same issue with the staff who were indifferent and couldn’t care less.

Visited a local independent store afterwards, convinced me not to waste my time with B&Q again!

Do not order anything from this store it is ran by incompetent staff who can not even process a order for delivery. They will take your money and not deliver the goods and when you ask for a refund you will have to wait three days to get your money back, but they will take the money out of your account instantly.

Came in recently to purchase some wood and get it cut into measured parts. Terry at the wood saw desk was five-star and got everything I needed cutting. He's an asset to B&Q.

*Below review in a nutshell, just don't shop at B&Q **
Recommended for anyone who'd like over a year of stress. We ordered two bathrooms and a kitchen. The two bathrooms were fitted and had to be ripped out again due to shoddy workmanship. The kitchen was cancelled the day before it was due to be fitted as was told only half the order could be delivered and the rest would be months later! This was after promises from the manager that everything would be absolutely perfect because of the ongoing bathroom issues!
The complaint procedure is shocking, so you end up giving up. Out of pocket, but learnt valuable lessons. The only way to deal with companies that disappoint so greatly is to not give them custom. So far, Magnet and our local independent DIY store have done very well out of B&Q's abysmal job.
Just in case you're still tempted to use them, I'm adding just a few photos showing what their bathroom fitter considered to be the perfect finish.

This is one of the bigger stores and seemed to be well stocked. Up to date policing mask wearing at the door. Good to remind people of the still present dangers and the correct rules. Staff seem helpful and alert, on occasion moving trolleys or obstructions to my wheelchair. Thank you.

Car park is shared with a very big supermarket with green signs. The disabled spaces are well marked, but not regulated in anyway. In the time it took to hoist my chair out the car there were 2 departures and an arrival with no badges on display.

There are a surprising number of roundabouts surrounding these stores and the car park entrance is not obvious and I (and two others) found the service entrance first!
