I would just like to thank the lovely lady karina who helped my elderly parents to day she was very professional and patient with them they went to change some out door lights the wanted plug in ones the man they first spoke to said that they didn't sell them karina went out of her way and went and looked her self she found them and brought them back to my mum and dad to see if they were the ones they wanted very professional thanks again

Unfortunately the cash register lady has some trouble to use their own system...
First she was absolutely shocked to scan a small B&Q club card,( she thought is fake) , are there any training for the staff?
I had 3 items, she didn't cleared/ check the system and she charged me for 4 items ( £24 plus)...

Unfortunately she didn't noticed at all!!!

In this case, this shop is a joke

All the time check your money!!!

Review regarding a lady called Joanne and her male colleague ( name not know but he is from Atherton). Both very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Saturday afternoon 3rd August 2024 Wigan store. Neighbours have erected (repaired) an adjoining fence to the best of my knowledge without the permission or knowledge of my own landlord. No receipt to me just a seemingly half share list of charges with no proof of payments/prices. I have health and safety concerns as it was not done by professionals who would have knowledge of quality of materials and experience with a guarantee of the quality and safety of the work. Private rented property. The 2 members of staff were very helpful and patient doing all they could to help me regarding the materials.

The worst story I have ever been into. I asked for advice and the man couldn’t get anyone so he asked what I wanted. I asked and he said everything was in the package so I didn’t need anything else. This was for floating shelves. When we opened the package nothing was in. So because we weren’t prepared the shelves couldn’t be put up at that time. When I was leaving the store to pay for the shelves the staff probably about 6 of them all chatting completely ignoring the fact I didn’t know how to work the self service tills but because there conversation was more important still ignored me. Absolutely disgusting service from start to finish. I think the store manager needs to take a good look at what is happening here. No wonder the store was empty. From now on I will go to St Helens store where the staff there can’t do enough for you.

It is a huge B&Q store compared with others in Manchester. I visited this store just before Christmas and lots of stuff having a discounted price. It is worth to come and take a look.

Some of the managers lack of good customer service. Spend loads of money in b&q in the past few months to renovate a whole house. Wanted to return something and the manager was not very nice and only wanted to give me store credit instead of refund. Definitely avoid Wigan b&q !!! Better going somewheres. I definitely won’t spend my money here again
