Took my car into the garage to ask if they were able to a job as i had this fault code. They insisted on scanning it again to make sure i was right. After a couple hours received a phone call saying that what i had said was correct but unfortunately they couldnt carry out the work needed. So i went to pick my car up and then they charged me £42 to scan my car for the fault code i had told them what the problem was. Once i challenged why i needed to pay i was met with a snarky remark of “i bet your code reader doesn’t cost £5000 to maintain” honestly appalled and definitely wont be going back

We have been using Burgess and Taylor for years. The continue to be helpful and have been able to fix our vehicles on a number of occasions at very short notice. One of the reasons we always go back is their honest direct approch. They never try to sell us unessesary work, but will give useful advice. We find many of our friends and family members use them for exactly the same reasons.

They fitted me in and provided a courtesy car whilst the repair was being conducted, and took the time to explain the actual parts and repair process to me. Burgess and Taylor saved my holiday to Spain! Van picked up a strange ‘wobble’ on Xmas eve, thought it was a wheel balance issue but after getting them balanced the problem persisted! Bit stressful as was meant to be leaving UK on the 2nd and tricky booking a garage between Xmas and New Year! Went in on New Year’s Eve and asked if they had any space and they luckily had space on the 3rd (next day of business).

I had an idea of the issue, but B&T diagnosed it and sorted the problem really quickly. Didn’t cost the earth either and the guys were really friendly and professional.

I don’t live locally unfortunately but if I ever have any issues with my van whilst visiting family in Newton Abbot, Burgess and Taylor will be my first port of call!
