I felt they were up to something shifty when I went in.

I asked for a price for a new battery and was originally told it's normal for my phone to be dead within 4 hours and a new battery would do the same. Then when I told them I kept getting notifications that the battery was not working properly they quoted me £40 and requested a £10 deposit to order the battery in, which changed to £20 within a minute.

When he began filling in a receipt, he demanded my phone lock code which I denied. I'm not comfortable giving that out with all the private info stored on phones these days. There was no reason they couldn't have me put it in just to check everything was working properly.

The last thing was when filling in the receipt he put that the total was £40, balance owed £40, and scratched out the deposit I was paying of £20, so I would have ended up paying a total of £60. I kept arguing it and he repeatedly and forcibly kept insisting that I sign. In the end I refused and walked out.

It definitely feels like there's something off going on here and I would not trust them.

Con Men: Went in with a Samsung Ao5 that the screen had stopped working on. First they said it was the motherboard, there was nothing that could be done to recover stuff on it, and it would be £80 for the board. When I asked for it back I was told give them an hour to see if they could "boost" the motherboard. Called back and was told that the boost had worked, but it needed a new screen for a further £65. Initially, I told them to go ahead. Then the rage monkeys rattled my cage so I went back into the shop and asked for the phone back. Hey Presto, 20 minutes later the phone is working, no new motherboard, no new screen, just an internal clip reattached! If I hadn't gone back in face to face I'd have had to wait 3 days and would have had a bill of £145 instead of the £20 I was eventually charged.

this store is the best phone shop in wigan! Fair prices,welcoming service and you cant beat the cleanleness! you can tell the staff had a very good knowledge on customer service and urgency 10/10.

Went to get my mums screen fixed and the man had blocked my iphone and put it on security lockout for 7 hours. Once I came back 7 hours later it was fully locked out and the only way to fix this was to do erase the iphone completely losing all my pictures! I went into the shop and the man claims it’s not his fault and it was mine for putting the password in wrong too many times but I know my password and I didn’t do this! Never go here

When in with my 7 year old Samsung phone faulty.. Tried to repair it but wasn't possible. Walked out with a brand new Samsung 2024 model 👌 Good value for money 💰 Would recommend CELL FIX. 5 stars.

RIP off merchants!! My 82 year old mum took her iPhone in yesterday to transfer from her old iPhone to new one can back with another SIM card in ! Despite her taking the new card in with her why would you put another SIM card in ?
Didn’t do anything and charged her £40!!!
I’m going back in on Monday to get her money back!!!

Have taken it there for a back glass repair and as soon as I left the shop it broke again. He suggested a battery change so I got the battery changed and now when I go in my settings it says that it’s a non genuine part or it isn’t functioning properly.
