New customer, company is highly rated. Update, I transported my green 1972 Triumph Stag to them for an engine rebuild and steering rack reburb. I had partly dismantled the engine myself, but due to lack of time, I decided to give the car to "professionals" to sort. After a few days, they asked me to remove the Stag and not waste my money on it. They advised me to just sell it as is and spend my money on my other "family" 1976 Stag restoration, which was at another restoration shop. As a Stag nut, I have acquired two more Stags for restoration, so the Classic Collective could have restored three of my four Stags but apparently, the customer is not always right if they have money to burn lol. This review relates to the previous company named Project Shop, which is now incorporated under a new CCB banner. I can add that the workforce I encountered were a decent bunch of lads, but the firm in its original guise had an air of snobbery about it and possibly handling a dual fuel LPG Stag was beyond their skill set. A simple engine rebuild with a recon crankshaft and new shell bearings fixed the original engine "tinking" rattle, which was caused by a dropped bolt in the sump, oil pickup pipe had swiveled and not picking up sufficient oil to lube the crank bearings. Carl (still with restoration money to burn, lol)

A BIG thank you to Steve, Simeon and the workshop guys for sorting our MOT issues and the overdrive on our TR6.
I can honestly say she feels and handles like a new car, and the glorious straight six soundtrack even sounds better than before.
I am glad we found Classic Project Shop, I found them to be very professional, knowledgeable and friendly, as well as up front and honest.
Not only that, they are training youngsters in the old school ways to keep our classics alive.
If you own a classic, I would highly recommend these guys.
Thank you again.

Project Shop rebuilt my Triumph TR6 chassis and body, which was an extensive job as it was a wreck. Several other workshops had looked at it and declined to take it on, but Simeon and his crew took a different viewpoint. I now have a car body and chassis, that although are 49-years old, the whole thing looks brand new. The attention to detail, and the efficiency with which the work was carried out, was outstanding. Highly recommended!

A wonderfully run and deeply knowledgable classic car specialist. They carried out a ground-up rebuild of a niche car for me recently, and not only was the finished result fantastic - they also kept to both the estimate and timeline for the job. I will be using The Project Shop again, and have no hesitation in reccomending it to others.

A pleasure to go into a business and have a realistic conversation about my car's problems and talk through the various solutions open to me. I have become very disenchanted with garages that just provide a quick fix using what turned out to be effectively susbstandard part sand charged me royally for the privelidge. I couln't recommend the classic collective workshop more highly. 5 stars

Had a brilliant week in Scotland in April this year with Puff running as perfectly as I have ever known her, probably better. All the team at Classic Project Shop played their part too, from Sim at the top, Steve at the Workshop and of course Zane and all the lads who crawl all over her. Onwards to the Three Castles Trial, and then in July to Goodwood FoS and the Forest Rally Stage. C'mon Puff and team, we can do this, thanks to the immaculate preparation at Project Shop. Bron

Embarking on my first classic car restoration I have to admit I didn't know where to start.

I wanted to remain 'hands-on' while knowing deep down I needed guidance and some experience to keep the project moving in the right direction.

That's where the Classic Project Shop come in.

From helping me to assess the car I had purchased and finding the right bodyshop to sort it, through to assisting in pulling together a parts list that I could largely source myself, I have felt an integral part of the Classic Project Shop team while my classic is brought back to life.

More importantly for me, I have also remained in control of my dream project without ever feeling exposed in terms of my mechanical knowledge or at risk financially - and this is 100% down to the service Simeon and his team provide.

I have been really impressed by the timely, modern methods of communication (such as whatsapp progress picture updates), transparent pricing and value and the speed and quality of their work.

It truly is a refreshing approach and I see it as a hugely positive and disruptive influence in the classic car world that others could learn a great deal from.

Overall, Simeon and his knowledgeable, multi-skilled and enthusiastic team have made what could have been a daunting process fun, simple and financially viable - because they focus on what matters and bring you along on the journey!

Couldn't ask for a better business to partner with on my first (and definitely not my last) restoration. Without them my project could have ended up like the many unfinished restorations before it.

Thank You.

The team at Project have given me some great advice on maintaining a XKR Jaguar. Such a positive environment & super professional throughout the process.
Would highly recommend if you have an older or modern classic.
