My laptop had a broken hinge which prevented it from being opened, it was fixed in under 24 hours and everything has worked perfectly since. Price was great value compared to what I was expecting to be charged, and when speaking to the staff they seemed extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Additionally the repair came with a 3 month warranty. Would definitely recommend!

Took my laptop to be repaired following a dodgy battery. As I did I had done some work on it previously. They only charged me for a new battery rather than labour. Unfortunately issues continued with the new battery I took it in to be repaired three times over and every time they spent all day repairing it. Lovely guys working there. They don't stop until there's complete satisfaction. Would highly recommend!

Problem: Cracked screen on an 18 month old laptop
Promised time: 24h
Estimated cost: £300 + £95 labour

What I got:

Fixed screen BUT
Reformatted computer because they couldn't re-access my laptop (I was not counselled this might happen)
Hinges loose and screen stays up with difficulty
Time > 48h
Cost - £400 (because they were doing me a favour by waiving an additional £85 labour)

Although the staff were friendly, that's not really the major issue here. I'll let you make your own decisions on whether this was a good deal, but for me after this experience I can only rate this shop 2 stars

I had a great and transparent experience at Computer Express. I am not a first time customer and each time they impress me with not only their speed but their honesty and humility in providing a service. They really exemplify customer service. Simple example of this is I paid for my screen to be replaced and they paid attention to detail adding screws and glueing up any areas where the hardware was starting to come apart. They also got the cleanser out and just polished it up. Once again all I paid for was for a new screen to be installed. This came at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend Computer Express to anyone in selly or brum in general !

The shop owner is very experienced in repairing laptops. My laptop screen was broken and it caused my laptop couldn't turn on. Mr.Ash fixed it in less than 30 minutes, and my laptop was working perfectly again. The cost was £20, very reasonable.
I would recommend Computer Express to anyone, not to mention they have more than 15 years of experience in this business.
