Ordered rods, Tom helpful chap and quick to respond to emails until he gets your money. Then he disappears. Was told at week 14 (of a 6-8 week build) blanks were put if stock at Harrison. Spoke to Harrison who had the blanks and sent them out next day. Rods finally built after 20 weeks. They didn’t send out when ready as it was a thursday and they were worried about rods going missing. They then waited until Thursday the following week to send out and they went missing for a further week in the postal system. Least the build quality is good though.

Top notch !! Wanted a pair of torrix 12ft 2.25lb , with my selected fittings and finish , was told 4-5 weeks for completion . Got an email in under 2 weeks saying they were ready to collect ! Fancied a drive out to the cotswolds to collect them in person , and have to say I was really impressed with everything . Nice smooth transaction , and toms a really nice guy . My buddy has just ordered his 2 torrix in 2.25 and one in 11ft 1.75 in pretty much the same spec as mine . Tom also talked me through all the things he had done to the rods . I will certainly be ordering more in the near future ! Thank you Tom and see you again ! 🙂

I’ve just returned from picking up x3 rods +1 spod rod made by Tom, I couldn’t be more impressed, the whole experience has been seamless, from the initial consultation through to picking up the finished product. Tom has been incredibly thorough with every aspect of the design and build, he really made sure my vision was brought to life. The level of craftsmanship is impeccable, the finish is absolutely flawless. Communication throughout the design and build has been constant, I couldn’t recommend any more 👍🏻one very happy customer

Excellent service received from Cotswold Rods with the refurbishment of three carp rods. Expert advice, quality components, competitive price, good turnaround and (most importantly) top draw workmanship. If you need your rods refurbished you won't be disappointed if you bring them here.

Ordered rod building kit end of October didnt know shop was closed til Nov 4th. Had great communication with Tom so I don't agree with other reviews as Tom was excellent. Received order this morning. Very happy with service and communication. Thank you Tom for everything

Unfortunately I am experiencing the same issues as some of the reviews below. I have called endlessly, left VM'S, sent emails, messages and even a letter. I am still awaiting my 'on the shelf rods' to be delivered from April 2024.
I was also told the rods were held up at the delivery depot and now been released. That was May 2024.
It's a shame as people rave about their products.

Had to nip in for an emergency rod repair today on my Harrison rods.
No problem at all sorted in 15 mins. Has to be said with looking round the rod selection in stock some of the 13 foot’s in stock I will soon be back!!!
Quality service quality repair. Won’t use anywhere else. Thanks guys. John. 👊
