My car had a damaged exhaust, took it into Dan’s garage in Steventon, spoke with Jordan who was so helpful, honest with what the estimate would be and fully detailing the costs but then the mechanic was able to fix it for what turned out to be a far more cost effective price that same day. Really happy with the service we have received, it’s safe to say they’ve now got us as regular customers!

Had my (07 Ford Fiesta) Air Con recharged for just £60 including labour, I was able to drop in and have the work done while I waited. It's great to have cool air whilst driving. I'm pleased with the service and the price. WOULD recommend

Had a service and MOT yesterday. All seems ok and friendly enough. A word of warning though. This garage charges £60 = VAT for an MOT when the maximum that can be charged on the government website is £54.85 and there should be no VAT. When I queried this, I was told that they could charge what they like. as they have to take it elsewhere for an MOT (in my case, next door), as they do not do this themselves. This was never explained to me when I booked my car in. I feel cheated as I'm not even sure that charging VAT on something that clearly is not VAT rated is legal.

I was recommended Dan by another garage in fact who couldn't take on the work as they were too busy. What can I say. Great bloke and so flexible and understanding. He has actually made what has turned out to be a very expensive job which we couldnt afford in one hit, into us being able to have the work done and it being manageable financially. What a gentlemen, you don't come across many small business like this these days 🙂

Always really helpful at fixing all my land rover problems from the trivial to complex. They are particularly great at communicating and letting me know when I can expect to have my vehicle ready, and I love being able to get online quotes, invoices and photos of the progress.
