Been using DMS SERVICES for many years can honestly say the best garage ever.
Dave and all the staff are amazing. They always do great work on my car, never say work needs doing when it doesn't.

Its rare these days that you get such a good service and value for money combined with honesty and integrity. Especially in the automotive industry. I needed a new electric wing mirror for my 4x4 after some idiot hit it whilst the vehicle was parked up. Went to the main dealer and was told the whole assembly needed replacing and fitting - Over £350+vat!!
I spoke to Dave and told him the scenario. Dropped it in. 30 mins later got a call to say everything has been tested, its working and the housing is fine - just needed a new heated glass mirror component. Part Ordered. Went back the following day less than an hour later.. all sorted! £50 - fitted. I couldn't believe it. Genuinely gob smacked and extremely grateful. If you want someone you can trust Dave at DMS is your man.

Always a fantastic service from DMS garage. You'll be greeted by a friendly smile or voice over the phone and your car will be in the best hands. I've been coming for about 5 years now and being a young woman I can feel weary of garages but I would honestly never go anywhere else. I also work in the community for the NHS so rely on my car being in great condition or being fixed as quickly as possible and to a high standard with absolutely fair prices. Never disappointed!

Great service and reasonably priced for MOTs and other repairs I've had done on my car. David was recommended to me by a friend who's car has been fixed at the garage for years and since I started taking my car there, I've not had any reason to be uneasy about leaving my car for any works needed. Thumbs up!

Fantastic service! Been taking my cars here for years and always been looked after by Dave and Aaron. They even managed to sort my Honda jazz after the Drive shaft went the other night. Managed to get it sorted so I could pick my car up the very next day. As a female, it's not always easy to find a garage I can trust..I would 100% recommend DMS to you.

Misleading prices, hidden
charges, and unauthorized work!

Took my Audi A6 in for a suspension arm (“leg”) replacement. Dave originally quoted £180 for labor and £60-£80 for the part. The next day, he suddenly claimed the part was £200. When I found it myself for £150 on eBay, he wasn’t happy—clearly because he couldn’t make extra profit on it.

Then, he mentioned the driveshaft “might” need replacing but said they’d check after fitting the leg. Instead of consulting me, he went ahead and ordered one for £200 without my permission—knowing full well I would’ve found it cheaper like I did with the leg. A driveshaft costs around £60-£70 online, but he charged me more than triple!

Final bill? £690. A complete rip-off. He never mentioned VAT upfront—he simply said “£180, it will cost you,” making it seem like the total price. Any honest mechanic either includes VAT in the quote or at least warns you. This was clearly done on purpose.

To make matters worse, he originally said the job would take 3-4 hours. But when I questioned the price, he suddenly claimed it took 12 hours—which is ridiculous. Either he’s completely incompetent or just inflating labor costs to squeeze more money out of customers.

Dave's tactic is simple: quote a low price, then hike it up once your car is in pieces. Do yourself a favor—avoid this garage at all costs. His friendly smile is just part of the con.
