If you want perfection, I wouldn't recommend. If you want a cheap and cheerful job for a car your not to bothered about then this is your guy.

I had my car fully colour coded last year.
I also brought him a black facelift front bumper to colour match to silver for me too.
When I picked the car up I was overwhelmed with how it looked that I didn't look close enough, paid and drove away.
When I got home my friend pointed one thing out to me, I then noticed so many problems to count.

Firstly, the masking tape problem. My car didn't have mirror caps so I was told he would mask the area out I wanted painting. On the parts of the mirror that wasn't being sprayed, meaning the black plastic, you could see all the straight lines of the masking tape and overspray and even full on drips.
I was assured that my side trims at the bottom of my door would be removed to spray, they where not. They where left in place and you can tell this as all the edging is flaking away each time I wash it, and the underneath of the car sills where covered in paint.
My car has mud flaps, two screws on each one to remove them. Where they removed? No. They where masked over 😂 must of taken longer masking then removing. As they are not a fixed part of the car and flex differently and where they have been masked poorly so that the masking line was on the mud gaurd rather then around it, the paint is now flaking. And not only that, if I ever wished to remove them, I would be left with a part of my rear bumper that isn't colour coded.
I had some rear trims painted gloss black, again to remove it is 2 pop out plugs not even screws. And they where masked around so I had over spray on my boot lifters.

I asked to smooth my tailgate because I didn't want a badge on it as the badge sits within a sunken oval. You could see the oval still where it had been smoothed, so I have ended up sticking a badge back over it.

Now for the front bumper, I had already paid 200 for this black front bumper as I mentioned at the start it's a facelift to my year.
It was painted silver, and the top grill painted gloss black.
This was the first thing that my mate pointed out before I found all of the above,
The grill was fully gloss black apart from one part where masking tape had clearly been left on when painting it and when removed it left the grey colour it originally way
There was areas on the bumper that wasn't painted and was clearly still black.
The bottom of the bumper is dry, you can see the black bleeding through as if not enough coats used and then dry in the sence no clear coat made it to that area, when you scratch that part with your finger nail the silver comes away.
My front bumper now is flaking in more places, more black is showing up.

It's been a year as I mentioned. It's only getting worse due to poor prep work.

I messaged at the time and was told to bring it back in 2 months. But i didn't because life moves on, other things come up and I have simply had no time.

I feel a review is needed because I expected better. Yes it's been a year but even today looking at it, their is more flaked off paint then the last time I noticed.

I used this place twice before on my wife's car and with no problems at all.

I'm not sure if perhaps my cars was training for someone else working with him or perhaps to much work was taken on that my car was rushed.

Just think it is worth letting people know, cheap and cheerful isn't always the best option.

Best body shop in Accrington I sent my tired Audi A4 Avant 170 to Edd at edd auto spray for a re fresh and tidy up and when I collected the car it looked like new, edd and his mechanic friend had totally transformed my car which I had considered getting rid of due to corroded wings and a dent in the bumper and now it really does look like it's just driven out of the factory!! Great work and excellent service and prices I could not be happier I am now considering showing my car it looks so fresh, thanks to Edd and his team I will definitely use again
