Other family members had already recommended Electrofix to me, so when I needed a TV fixing with an intermittent, oddball fault, I took it there. Left it for inspection with a small deposit. Received a call a few days later with a diagnosis and quote. Gave the go ahead to repair and it was carried out efficiently and at a reasonable price. Job done, no fuss, happy customer.

13 month old JVC TV that was over heating and the frame of the screen melting, with green lines showing on the screen. Electrofix Tv Repair investigated in the hope to make a repair. Unfortunately the cost of the tv part to repair was disproportionate to the cost of the TV. I thought that would be the end of that, but Electrofix advised to contact the retailer as Under the sales of goods act the goods must be suitably durable – meaning they should last for a reasonable period of time, which in this case it had not lasted a reasonable period of time. It took a few months but eventually my claim was successful with the retailer and received a partial refund.

I had two DVD recorders that had stopped working, and had been advised by other repairers that they were unlikely to be able to be fixed .
