Brought my old Macbook Air in to F A Computers. Fahim diagnosed and identified the problem in front of me. Gave me options and a fair repair estimate which I accepted. Very impressed with his work, professionalism and the quick repair delivery service. I would highly recommend his services.

I can't praise Fahim highly enough. Referred to him by a friend, I went in with a battery problem and he took a look immediately - within no time, he also worked out I needed another charger and something to cool down my fan, plus a new battery. He assured me this would 'renew' my Airbook and give me a few years more usage.

He is so professional and courteous and I could sense immediately how honest he is. Came back two days later and my machine looks better than ever and is functioning so well. He even lent me a charger whilst he ordered a new one for me.

With a reasonable price and a fast turnaround, what more could I ask for? I will be recommending him to everyone I know with Apple machines, He's your go-to guy in Crouch End, no doubt (and actually I'd travel from another part of London to use him again, if necessary).

My daughter's Macbook Air was rendered inoperable by a full cup of coffee being spilled over it. Apple issued an eye-watering repair quotation without even diagnosing the problem. I brought it to F A Computers and Fahim got back to me the same day with a full diagnosis and a very reasonable quotation, including parts and labour. The repair was completed in a couple of days and returned as good as new. Very happy with the service!

Really bad, stressful experience. I came to them with a sense of urgency, paid extra for it and they took two weeks to return my laptop. I asked for a service, to improve speed and graphics card performance. They improved the speed but couldn't fix the performance problem. Once they returned the laptop they said 'we'll call you to discuss mother board replacement or new computer options', they never called. It's fair enough they couldn't fix the graphics card problem, that's okay, but to take two weeks to tell me that you can't fix it is unprofessional.

They never communicated or updated me until I cornered them either. I called them so many times, they never answered. After a week of radio silence I went to the shop twice, they were shut. I called the manager on his holiday demanding staff get in touch with me about what was going on and once I got hold of staff they said sorry but were pretty slow and passive about the whole thing. They would promise me delivery 'very soon' and then delay it further. I understand things can go wrong for technicians and problems seem solvable at first and can’t be fixed later but to not tell me anything and just push my patience to its limit was really frustrating and not okay. In the end the price was not worth it for all that stress involved. I was really let down because the man who serviced me was very nice.

Edit: The response from the owner is a lie. They called me after I posted this review offering me a free service if I want my computer looked at again. Thank you for the offer but don’t act like I wrote a review for the wrong shop.

Edit 2: Your attitude is outrageous. I was not happy with the result of ‘computer is faster now but we can’t fix it’, I just relieved to finally get my laptop back after two gruelling weeks of waiting with no communication or acknowledgement until I forced your hand. You also offered to deliver it to me, what am I gonna do say no? The service was expensive and slow so don’t give me that ‘free of charge’ nonsense. Own up to your mishap!
