Excellent service. My car was damaged in an accident and my insurance recommended this garage. Communication was great and they collected my car from home and delivered it back looking like new. Friendly and polite staff made the experience stress free.

My little car went in for some repairs to the bumper and right wing after some winkle spanner decided to drive into it. From the moment I had contact with Fix Auto Wigan I was confident that everything would be okay. Their customer support and communication was excellent and they kept me updated throughout the process of the repairs. I even got my car back earlier than planned so that was a bonus. The work done was absolutely perfect and it actually looks like a new bumper, even though it’s not. The car had also been cleaned for my return, which was a really nice surprise. Thank you Fix Auto Wigan and all the wonderful people who work there.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS would give 0 stars if I could. My polo went in for repair and come out a s**t show. One of the gentleman were really lovely but Gareth on the other hand was rude and an absolute joke. 2 weeks later we went back as advised off our insurance company for the final repair attempt after I didn’t want to use this garage again I gave them the benefit of the doubt to put it right. They failed the repair and was told I need a new door so to contact my insurance company. I proceeded with my insurance company for them and myself to be told they were doing the repair. Called following day, still doing repair and was due call back as we were waiting an estimated figure for a cash settlement. Recieved no call back from insurance company to then ring back for then to be told the garage have refused to do the work and it will “go back over a couple of years” no the deal has been split into two when it’s meant to be one whole piece. Would avoid this garage at all costs. On the other hand the insurance company themselves are not happy with the garage and had to do an estimated cost on the garages behalf. The insurance company have even had to provide compensation due to the stress the garage has caused me. It’s not the insurance company’s fault! It’s the shabby garage that completes shabby work. As you’ll see in the images, the seal is split into 2 and letting in leaks, the paintwork job is ridiculous and they’ve torn all the fabric on passenger side when they have “tried to repair it” it didn’t have all these tears when it went in! Also the back bumper as you’ll see still has scratches all over it when that’s what also happened during the accident! Didn’t come out the garage in the way it should of before the accident! NO NO NO! AVOID!

Fantastic service done to a wonderful standard. The repair took a little longer than expected but I think that was more down to Hastings setting themselves low standards that even they fail to meet. Everyone at fix auto was very helpful, rang me with updates when the car had been assessed, when the repairs had started etc. I picked my car up and she looked better than ever, they’ve done a fantastic job restoring her to how she used to look, and even gave her a clean for me as well. Would highly recommend them for any repairs! Gareth was lovely as well, I think people need to remember that if you speak to people like human beings they’ll treat you with respect back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The day it went in for repairs they was lovely. A few touches needed to be done to the car which a lovely gentleman came out and sorted the car for us, we also had a curtesy car which was borrowed from this company which then started accusing of faults being wrong as we found faults with our own. Then a man came out called Gareth. Which was extremely rude! We replaced all fuel used in the curtesy car which was fine as was stated when we exchanged cars in the first place… when we questioned why the fuel wasn’t replaced in our own vehicle he started mouthing off and calling me names e.g petty, then walked away middle of conversation. Now I seriously am unhappy and I want to change insurance company. I’ve very grateful for the insurance company paying for £4,600 worth of damage but the garage themselves are AWFUL and RUDE.

My car was assigned a repair through my insurance at fix auto/SD pollit. 3 month wait for repairs.

Initial communication was good. Car picked up and that's when the problems started. Estimated 8 days for repairs to be completed. Communication then deteriorated and kept waiting a number of days in limbo having to take time off work. In the end it was 14 days when my car was returned.

On inspection of my vehicle it had been repaired to an extremely poor standard and totally unacceptable condition the car was in. Overspray on windows,on plastic trim,spray paint on boot lid. Full of filler dust inside. Bumper not fitted correctly. Vehicles shouldn't be leaving a workshop in that condition.

Contacted fix auto and they wanted me to return for them to rectify the the problems. Very poor customer service. Eventually received a courtesy vehicle.

Last email I sent to fix auto was ignored. No apology at all.

Despite delays that could probably have been managed better the work carried out is absolutely spot on. I had a door replaced and the paint job is fantastic blended in perfectly with the rest of the car. The office staff customer service was good.
