Sinclair is nice, and was quick and professional at changing my watch batteries and a strap. As a result, I went to him with a complex repair of a 1970s watch which belonged to my grandfather. In fairness to Sinclair, it might have been an impossible job; the parts aren’t available in the UK and difficult to source.

With this said, he’s had my watch for a year now. I paid a hefty deposit at the start, and the watch is valuable. It also has huge sentimental value. I have lost count of the amount of unanswered requests for updates, by WhatsApp and email. I have had a grand total of 3 short updates in the year he’s had my watch; all of which weeks after he promised the updates, and only after I’ve followed up a lot. I understand that Sinclair is busy, but it doesn’t take long to reply to a WhatsApp, and I wouldn’t have felt the need to ask for updates if there was a regular pattern (e.g. monthly). Sinclair still has my watch (despite promising to post it a week ago now after I finally asked just to have it back), and he has not replied to my messages asking when this is going to happen.

All in all, I can’t fault Sinclair’s craftsmanship, and I think he is genuinely great at what he does. But at the same time, the communication just isn’t there, which has been a source of enormous stress over the last year given how valuable the watch is to me.

Been 6 weeks since I took my laptop to these guys for a simple battery replacement. They said they would order the battery and let me know when it arrived in a week or so. Luckily I decided to hold on to my laptop in the meantime. Paid my 50% upfront, never heard from them again, in spite of multiple calls, emails and text. I can't go into the store either as its closed shut. They have apparently moved premises but its not clear where...terrible customer service. Avoid.

Excellent service! They replaced a missing letter key from my laptop keyboard a good while back.
The gentleman Sinclair is a perfectionist and superlative at his job! He replaced broken wind- up on very sentimental watch as well as replacing two new batteries.
Great service would recommend!

Sinclair the Manager has had my wall clock for over 8 months. Each time I called I was promised to come and collect in the Balham office. He does not answer my emails or phone calls. I have asked him to be honest and tell me what happened to my clock I paid to repair. He comes up with a multiude of excuses. I tried to co.plain to the new Malden branch. No one answers the phone.i will take legal action now to get my clock back. My mother recently passed away and she bought me that clock over 20 years ago

I needed a new laptop as my previous one was on its last legs. Fixit were referred to me. I purchased a brand new laptop, which was cheaper than having my old one fixed and got a very good deal.

I have been back to fix my watch which was done the following day.

Have always found staff extremely helpful and very polite.

I am not happy at all with this company. The one who was there before was much better, so I thought it wouldn't matter. I thought wrong.
My computer did not start properly and the time did not synchronize. When I got it back after two days it was fine for one day but still did not show the right time, plus I could not see my second hard drive in the windows explorer. Also, I had to find out that some private photos (very private!) were opened during the time in the repair shop. That is something I never experienced before.
I brought it back. Had to wait five days to get it back, when I called in between, they told me, there is a queue in front of me. They shouldn't put me at the end when I had to complain about the repair.
My computer is fine now, I also have my second hard drive but totally empty, I don't even know if its my original one.
Next time, I have to look for a different shop.

Took my laptop in at the start of September, to have 3 fans and the battery replaced. Which I specified when I walked in the shop. However, was still charged £20 to be told the same thing over the phone. I can understand the diagnostic fee, but discretion could have been used here.

The quote price was £190, £40 for each fan and £70 technician fee, of which I was asked to pay 50% of as a deposit. Quite a high price point for what is essentially an online search and a 10 minute job, but again I can understand a need to profit from work.

What I do not understand is the near three months I ended up waiting for the shop to incorrectly order two sets of fans, both times I had to ring them up to find out why it had taken yet another two weeks. Finally, after waiting a ridiculous amount of time, being told "its difficult to find gaming laptop fans" I went in and took my laptop back. After which a 10 minute search on the ASUS parts website had me ordering the correct fans, that were then delivered within 48 hours of purchase for under £50 total.

Severe lack of communication between client, asking for a 50% deposit before work is even started and £70 for a technician to order incorrect computer parts. I would recommend anyone avoid this place for any computer related issues.

I left my broken laptop with them for 2 weeks. They couldn’t get it working. They charged me £20 diagnostic fee and they tried to change me about £100 for a reset. Which I declined, as I wanted to save my data. At home I followed some simple online advice about checking the battery and my laptop worked again. I’m pleased I fixed it, but am disappointed that a battery check was not performed as part of the £20 ‘diagnostic fee’ that I paid. I emailed them and they did not respond with any explanation. I would not recommend and won’t be using them again.
