AVOID !!

This phone shop absolutely ripped us off went in for two phone covers and glass screen protectors and the guy said it was gonna be 70 odd quid. We said there was no way we would pay that amount when you can get them online on ebay and amazon for a lot cheaper. He then refused to take the products back and offered us discount but only down to £55. Absolute rip off and will never return again. Please avoid being ripped off with your hard earned cash.

I went in to buy a phone cover for my new phone & a screen saver items I've never bought before! He did me a special deal £35 for both!! I thought it sounded a lot but paid & left, then I decided to check out how much it would have been at one of the other phone shops in the arndale centre "£15" like for like!! Be careful folks shop around!!

I had a broken screen on my Samsung Fold 5 and visited this shop for a repair. Initially, I was told it could be fixed the same day at a reasonable price, so I handed over my phone and payment. However, the entire process ended up taking three days and became a stressful and frustrating ordeal.

The Issues:

1. Delays and Miscommunication:

On the first day, I was told the repair couldn’t be completed due to a delay with the part, but it would be ready by the next afternoon. I was fine with this, but communication after that point became increasingly unreliable.

2. Tracking Concerns:

Using my phone's tracking feature, I noticed it was moved to multiple locations, including another repair shop in Leeds, a residential address in Bradford (where it stayed overnight), and eventually a shop in Manchester, where tracking was disabled. This lack of transparency raised serious concerns about how my device was being handled.

3. Excuses and Further Delays:

On the second day, I was told the technician was unwell but assured the repair would still be completed. When I visited the shop again on the third day, I was told it would be ready in an hour. Two hours later, I finally got my phone back in working order—but only after persistent chasing on my part.

4. Unprofessional Apology:

As compensation for the delay, the shop offered me a free screen protector—only to try charging me for it when I collected my phone. After some stern words, they finally agreed it was free.

Final Thoughts:

While my phone is now fixed (and seems to be working well), I cannot recommend this shop. It took three days for the repair to be completed, and the lack of transparency, constant delays, and the movement of my phone to multiple locations without my knowledge made the experience unnecessarily stressful.

If you're considering using this shop, I’d strongly advise shopping around instead. The repair shop in Manchester (where i think my phone was ultimately fixed) has great reviews, so I’m hopeful the work was done correctly—but I wouldn’t trust this shop with another repair. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

Liars and frauds, do not do business with anyone in this shop!

Took my phone in here for a new screen and was told they would give me a screen in the same quality as the last OLED where I can still use my finger print scanner. When they gave me it back after a day, they had increased the thickness and weight of the phone by putting a dodge third party LCD screen on which didn’t work with my finger print scanner and couldn’t even do 120hz anymore locking it to 60hz.

I complained for a replacement or refund and all I got was back talk with them calling me a liar and then not even offering to resolve the issue.

The people here will treat you like trash with money in your pocket. With all the other options you have in Crossgates, AVOID this shop at all costs and spend your time and money elsewhere.

I took my phone here to have the back glass fixed - upon collecting my phone I found all cameras were completely broken (including Face ID etc).
They would take no responsibility, even though I clearly took a photo on my phone just hours before the repair.

Stay away!!! I’m left with an iPhone 14 Pro that has zero camera ability!!!

I had issues with my mobile data not working on my phone I went to this shop they said 3 hours went back after the time, my data worked in the shop but as soon as I got home. I then realised it had stopped again and went back next day and asked for a refund the guy refused and was blaming it on my network provider is probably working on something in my area but months later it still didn't work.

I called into this shop this morning looking for a protective case for my partners Samsung galaxy A04S, I was gobsmacked when he asked for £35, I said no way so he said just give me £20, no prices on accessories for sale, I went to future links and happily paid £10, avoid fonefix at all costs

Got my battery done here tried to charge £55 till I said no charger £30 should of known it was dodgey when he said “30 minutes you can come back” battery’s worse than it was. My phone goes red hot doesn’t hold charge fake cheap battery , I went up to the shop he wasn’t there only a girl that can’t fix phones. I went back 3 times still not there , tried his number phone was turned off for a week then number not recognized. Absolutely shambles of a shop I’ll be making sure I’m there everyday kicking off till I’m refunded.
