Absolutely perfect! My dads old Ipod Classics battery was completely dead, and with my dad's collection of over 1000 songs listed some hard to find to listen to now...we all thought they were gone lost to a very old battery! Gamer Tech was fantastic from start to finish, Gavin had done my repair and the same day had it shipped back to me. It's one of the best things I've done for my dad's birthday and he will be over the moon!
Gamer Tech kept me well informed throughout via email, and yes I did read the previous reviews and I'm so happy I got my it fixed and working hence five stars!!!!

Called on spec with my iPhone that wasn’t charging, I’m due into hospital tomorrow for a major operation and I should have sorted before today but they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Excellent service, friendly staff, can’t recommend highly enough. Literally sorted while I waited - when they handed the phone back it was that quick I thought they were going to say they couldn’t do anything with it! Thanks to you I now have a phone that I can keep charged and keep in touch with everyone. Thank you!

Avoid avoid avoid. I have reported this firm to the trading standards. Took diagnostic fee and claimed a new screen would be required for my iPad repair, but after months of chasing I was told it hasn’t arrived and their supplier won’t ship another one until the parcel is either located or declared as missing by the courier. I strongly suspect (given the countless other reviews reporting the very same issue and surely no one’s customer service can be that bad?!) that gamer-tech had no intention of fixing my iPad and were more than happy just to pocket the diagnostic fee.

Please please please avoid using these bunch of rogue traders.

Awful service!

My initial email was answered in 24hrs and the item collected 48hrs after that. They received it 23/01 and have heard nothing since! Have emailed numerous time, all ignored, and called but can never get past number one in the queue. Husband enquired about a repair and again, had a reply not even 24hrs later. Now trying to fit in a 5 hour round trip to take back what’s ours. And a refund!

Don’t accept new orders if you can’t fulfill the ones you have!!!

Avoid at all costs. As other reviewers have said, the company take your money and promise to fix your item then you never hear back.

I sent a turntable I’d inherited after the death of a family member and assume I have lost it forever. I’m just heartbroken as this meant a lot to me. We’d planned to have a family get together over Christmas playing all our old vinyls and we couldn’t.

This “company” received my item back in November and all I got in response was “how do you turn it on?” … doesn’t bode well does it. I’ve sent multiple emails, customer service queries through their website and called endlessly and still have nothing nearly 6 weeks later.

I just want my item back if at all possible. I don’t care that you obviously can’t fix it, just return it back to me and I’ll find someone who knows what they’re doing.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I was told 3-4 weeks, it took 5 weeks for me to hear anything from them at all, and this was because I called them. They had only inspected the item at this point, and said they needed to order in some parts to fix it. I was told it would take 3-4 days for the part to arrive, and that I'd be informed if it was a longer eta. I then didn't hear from them for months, tried calling several times and was left on hold for 2+ hours, emailed and wasn't replied to.

After more than 3 months I just wanted my device back (and didn't want to pay an extra £65 for the repair) so I requested it and luckily it was sent quite quickly, which is weird considering the lack of responses to all my other messages. Anyway, now I'm back to square one and have to find somewhere else to get it repaired.

Appalling service, if you know you're short staffed or won't be able to get the job done quickly at least let customers know before they pay you and send you their property!

Edit to review, Charlie from the team has explained they have had the mist awful week, my controller went straight to dan this morning and is now in the process of being repaired, fingers crossed but have had relevant photos sent to me. So touch wood 🤞🤞
Today I got the best news all my worries were for nothing so I've taken down the first post.
Charlie and Dan, very much appreciated you taking the time to pull forward my repair. Dan's work commitments ate second to none. He got straight on and worked tirelessly to have my item fixed and I'd now being shipped back to me. If you ate In any doubt this company and the staff are second to none

Was extremely nervous shipping my PS5 to York from Hull but they made the experience really reliable by having the package tracked and taking pictures and emailing me once they had received it. They also kept me posted along the way too, once fixed and after, to make sure everything was running fine and gave me a call after to let me know it was all okay and if they could ship it back. I sent it off on the Thursday, they emailed with all the updates on Friday and I received my Playstation back on the Saturday morning and so far everything is working perfectly. Would definitely recommend them, price was reasonable and got my playstation back quicker than I was expecting! Brilliant service.
