Absolutely amazing service. Called yesterday lunch time and spoke to Gareth. He explained everything clearly and advised that their diagnostic machine may not locate the problem. I decided to take the risk and was extremely glad I did. I took the car in this morning and had a call mid morning to advise the fault was found and that they could fix it. I had an appointment this afternoon and the were so accommodating that they moved a few things around and had my car repaired by the mid afternoon. So extremely grateful to these guys. Thank you so much for helping a damsel in distress.

Used GVS for the last, ten (ish) years. Four cars now in the household and they all come here for MoTs, service and repair. Never, ever had a problem! Realistic attitude and competent workmanship, coupled with helpful and accommodating service. I have no reason to go elsewhere.
They also have a dog called Rocky 🙂

Updating this review in Oct '24 and nothing has changed. Still bringing four cars here and still getting good service.

Jan '25: No change. A short-notice request for recovery & repair was fully accommodated at 8:00am the following morning. Car fixed & returned by close-of-play, same day.

Great garages. They are honest and a fair price. The work is of high quality as is the customer service. The reception explains exactly what will be done to your car and go much it will cost. They can do all the usual servicing, plus exhaust, suspension and steering systems. I had a new exhaust fitted and two new tyres. The work was done quickly and well. I highly recommend getting your car fixed here.

I turned up at GVS at 4:45 this evening with a punctured tyre, they immediately got the car in and replaced the tyre and I was back out within 20 minutes. The friendly team couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend GVS very highly.
