I had a terrible experience at this phone repair shop. One of the managers came across as reliable, friendly, and easy to talk to, but not a single thing he said turned out to be true. He claimed he would go get the screen, and the phone would be fixed in two hours, but when I returned, he hadn't even gone to pick it up. This happened three times. He wasted my time repeatedly. He pretends to be professional but is just exploiting your anxiety to get you to pay quickly.

He said he was going to pick up the screen from the warehouse and install it in the shop, but at the last minute, he insisted on taking my phone with him, supposedly to ensure the screen model matched. In the end, they still didn’t install the screen in the shop. When he returned, he claimed the phone model was different, and the screen replacement required adjustments to the camera. Later, I discovered that the camera had issues—it couldn’t save photos. When I confronted them, they denied touching the screen, which was an outright lie.

The owner was extremely rude, blaming their incompetence on communication problems, as if it was my fault. I paid £120 to repair my phone screen, but they used a poor-quality, non-original screen that was very dim with large dead zones at the top and bottom. To make matters worse, the screen stopped working entirely after just one month.

If I can give this negative stars I would

Firstly I went to the shop to change my camera lens and was told by the employee that the product was original however once received the lens was bulging out of place and it was not the original . He replaced the lens for me and it was still not the original however I took it and within ten minutes the lens glue had failed and it fell off the camera .

I went back to the shop the next day (third time in 24 hours) and due to the service failing for the third time I requested a refund as I did not want the business to work on my phone again but they refused a refund and claimed it is within the terms and conditions that they don’t offer refunds however that was not the case . I spoke to the head office and they still wouldn’t offer me a refund .

The employee also claimed that I have a six month warranty so can keep coming back if there are any faults , how is that a reasonable response to give a customer ?

So I have now received a lens that isn’t like the original and I’m waiting to see if the lens will fail again . Employees do not listen to the customers and they kept changing their answers every 5 minutes .

I will never trust them again and do not go there

I had my screen replaced (just had a small chip) with an extremely poor quality screen that only really shows blue tones (no yellows or orange) when I went back to ask to have it replaced I was told I’d have to pay for another better screen even though you can see it isn’t showing yellow tones.. won’t be going back and very disappointed

Proper worst experience I’ve ever had with a laptop repair shop! Went in for a simple battery swap, but ended up going back and forth loads ‘cause they didn’t do it on time or properly. Always had some excuse, and even after all that, the job were still dodgy. If you value your time and sanity, don’t bother with this place!”

Please reconsider visiting this shop and take into account other 1-star reviews. I had an extremely disappointing experience. I paid £235 for a screen replacement, but the screen quality was poor—it appeared dark, unresponsive to touch, and the front camera on my iPhone 15 pro max looked grainy, almost like CCTV footage. When I raised my concerns with the technician immediately after the repair, he dismissed them, saying it was “normal” and assured me I could return under warranty if I wasn’t satisfied.

The next day, while on a flight, my phone slipped out of my jacket pocket, which was resting on my knees, and lightly landed on the carpet. Despite the minimal impact, the entire screen shattered, making the phone unusable. It’s important to note that before bringing it in for repair, my phone had only a small crack from a much higher fall onto concrete, yet it still worked perfectly. I initially got the screen fixed for cosmetic reasons, but the poor-quality repair left me stranded on holiday with a broken phone, severely impacting my trip.

Upon returning to the shop to complain, I brought proof that the phone wasn’t working properly even before the screen shattered. I also asked to speak to the technician who had repaired my phone, as I had told him I was unhappy with the repair when I picked it up. However, the owner refused to let me speak with the technician and denied my request to address my concerns. He even tried to avoid accountability by lying, claiming he had only just started working there, even though another staff member confirmed he was the manager. The dishonesty and refusal to take responsibility was incredibly frustrating.

In the end, I had to pay £390 for a proper repair at Apple, bringing my total repair costs to £625, all for an issue that wasn’t even severe in the first place. Based on this experience and other negative reviews, I strongly advise against using this shop. The poor service, dishonesty, and lack of accountability left me without a phone when I needed it most, and their customer service was shockingly bad.

Terrible Experience – Rude and Unprofessional Behavior

I visited this shop to buy an iPad cover and screen protector. When I asked to see a cover without the plastic, the owner removed it but later got angry when I decided not to buy it, claiming I had wasted his time. He then showed me a screen protector in a rude, challenging manner and demanded I critique it. When I asked for my iPad back, he started yelling and even hurled insults as I left. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful—would never recommend this place.

My phone was basically completely broken from water damage and I just needed it fixed well enough to get my data off it. They got it working within a couple hours so I could transfer everything over and only charged £20 + the cost for a new screen.
