I took my son's pixel phone in as the latest software update by Google means his battery drains quickly. This is a known fault and Google either offer free repairs through EE shops or £40 payment to repair elsewhere. The phone itself says this and gives the options of what to do. I took the phone to iMorpheus and asked if they could replace the battery, they searched online while I was there, said yes, and it would be £40.
My son went to collect it the next day. They told him they couldn't replace the battery, but Google would release a software fix (they aren't doing) and gave him a plug and cable that would help until then! (It won't)
I've been in today to complain.
They've told me there are no batteries available in the UK (so why did they say they can fix it? they searched while I was in the shop. They also had my phone number so could have contacted me when they realised.)
They agreed to give me £25 refund as I'd returned the cable and plug.
They've insisted on keeping £15 as they gave it a service, which it didn't need and apparently it was working fine when it was in the shop. It wasn't before or since. It needs a battery!
So now I'm £15 down and will have to travel to Manchester to get it fixed.

Afew weeks ago I completely broke my Samsung Galaxy xcover 5 screen. Must've rung 20 different shops looking for a repair, all said no or had a panic, couldn't or wouldnt do this phone. Two shops said maybe but needed it for two weeks!!
But not this guy, instantly says yes and only needs it 24hours. Go give him my phone on a Thursday, got it back on Friday all fixed up no issues no fuss. Very reasonably priced to not silly expensive. Highly recommend, and thankyou very much!!

Excellent quick service. Took in a broken usb cable had it repaired saving me £80 quid on a new device.
They were unable to test in the shop so without charging me let me take it home and test before coming back to pay.

Received great and reassuring advice from the guy who works there. Dropped my phone off at 5pm and the screen was repaired and fixed the next day for collection from 10am. Fast, quick and efficient service. I wish I had known about the shop previously, as I had recently taken another phone to a different shop which I received bad service from. Would recommend this shop in the future. 👍🏾
