I went in with Chris as moral support and to attempt to be a mediator, however the gentleman in the shop was completely dismissive re the problem. He refused to accept any fault and blamed it on over charging the phone. He wanted £20 to put another battery in and when I explained the dangers of using inferior quality batteries, he decided to deny he had fitted the battery. There is CCTV in the shop which I asked whether it was recording and his reply was “yes” but he couldn’t decide if it was for a month or “any time”.
I used a reputable mobile business who replaced the battery today (who attended my place of work on time and changed the battery in 15mins) and gave me back the faulty battery explaining it was a good job the phone was turned off as it was a fire hazard and could have exploded causing a fire. It was physically swelling and bulging the screen. I regret not taking a picture of that problem!
If you wish to put yourself and your family at serious risk of harm, then use this service. Alternatively Google mobile phone repair Manchester. Lee was faultless, professional, polite and gave me his business card offering to resolve any issues that may arise. Almost same price.
I’ve contacted Tameside Trading Standards and now waiting for the next stage. Don’t gamble with your lives with this Charlatan.

I'm very satisfied: The charge port on my laptop was broken (attachment to motherboard, plus also, it became clear later, itself broken inside). The friendly and keen owner, sensitive to me needing my laptop back soon, effected a quick 'temporary' repair within less than an hour that got me back up and running, and told me to let him know / bring it back in if the repair didn't hold. About a week later, I could see that a tiny metal part in the charge port itself was loose, causing connection to be hit and miss, so I took it back in: true to his word, the gentleman ordered a replacement part and installed that, without charging anything extra. While the part was on order, he even effected another temporary repair to get me through the time for the part to arrive in! The actual repair proper is solid: I've left it a few weeks since the repair to make sure before leaving this review. The owner was polite, friendly, and keen to please throughout. This is a relatively young business (about a year or so old as of late 2024), but the clearly knowledgeable owner, in chatting, told me he studied computer science, and has had about 14 years of repair experience, which is reassuring. If I have another problem with my laptop or phone, this would now be my first port of call. Give the keen owner and this young business a chance!

Amazing phone shop/repair. The fast charging on my Samsung s24 ultra had stopped working completely. I contacted the owner by WhatsApp and he was very quick to respond. He agreed on a price (very reasonable) and said to pop back in an hours time. It was done within 30 mins. He showed me that the fast charge was now working again whilst in the shop. Wouldn't hesitate to use the shop again and will be recommending him to anybody should they have a breakdown in their mobile phones or laptops etc...in the future. Thanks once again 👌🏻👍🏻.

Taken my MacBook in for a repair which was refused by other stores including Apple recommended stores due to it being classed as ‘vintage’ however shopkeeper was quick to ordering the parts and completed the job ASAP laptop is back working. Thank you!
