By far the most trustworthy and professional garage for Volvo’s in the area. I travel 45 miles each way to have the annual service and MOT carried out by Tony and the team. He is also very reasonable for other work such as brake pad replacement. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else with my Volvo, I would highly recommend him to any Volvo owner.

Trusted mechanics. Was quoted £600 for a repair at another shop. Took it to IVS and the issue was fixed for £50 last year. Took it here to have it serviced and MOTd this year. All future issues were explained. Will certainly be recommending them for anyone with Volvos.

Maybe I have been unlucky because all the other reviews here are so complimentary, but I can only comment on my own experience of this outfit, which has been utterly miserable. I wasted two weeks of my time and £45 on diagnostics completely failing to get a quote for a dashboard instrument cluster repair. Maybe they can do the run-of-mill, but this (a common Volvo S60 fault) seemed utterly beyond them. Had to go elsewhere.

They have just opened a branch near Kings Lynn and John was excellent. Other garages refused to tackle the problem with Volvo s90 but it was diagnosed within a couple of hours, part ordered, and collected next day. At last a proper Volvo mechanic with a broad experience. Thanks.

I needed to find somewhere to service / MOT my Volvo for the first time and came across Independent Volvo Services. Tony and the team were brilliant, and the cost was a good deal cheaper than if I’d gone back to the main dealer where I purchased the car. Will definitely be using IVS regularly in the future.

Amazing service!!!! My son clicked on the private locking button and our boot was locked with our shopping inside in our s90 and I called them up and they reset it for FREE!!! Amazing people really recommend

Wouldn't take my volvo to anyone but these guys absolutely no doubt Tony and Derek (?) So honest and helpful if they can't fix it no one can
