I had JFD come out to a breakdown/ recovery. The guy was there on time, tried his best to start my car in situ, sadly it needed a garage, so he dropped it at my local garage. Excellent service, would highly recommend.

Bear in mind that some of the bad reviews on here are years old but this is how I found the service here:
Last Friday evening 20/09/2024 my car clutch pedal fell to the floor. Called Autoaid who were useless, but at least they arranged for this company to pick our car up. Autoaid just left us dumped there by the side of the road but the breakdown guy arranged a taxi. We were due to go home Saturday but they could not fix the car till Monday so we had to arrange extra guest house days at extra cost's.
On the Monday, I was a pain in the butt to these guys calling them for updates every hour or so as we wanted to go home Tuesday morning. Nothing was too much trouble here, they welcomed my calls in fact. They could have stung me for a new clutch, but just changed just the slave Cylinder They even came to Torquay to pick us up to collect our finished car back in Paignton. Then on arrival they were even washing my car. I can't fault these guys at all.
Now home after a 6 hour drive and no issues at all with the clutch.

They were decent. Seemed pretty honest which is a rarity with most garages. Price wasn’t much difference to 3 other garages I had quotes from, the reason I used them was the communication and can do attitude. I will use them again for all my van repairs as the van now drives like a dream

Can't thank these guys enough. After ringing round several other garages. Should have just give JFD a call first. Really helped us out today at such short notice.
