exceeded all my expectations, on repairing my car, which I handed over, needing extra work to be carried out! They ensured I had my car returned, as soon as they possibly could and went the extra mile for me. Very very impressed and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The waiting room was also very nice and comfortable ! Will be delighted to continue to use their services going forward and highly recommend. Thank you!

Avoid if you can.

Visited for a simple oil and filter change for £117.
Once they did the change I noticed a spillage of oil on the under tray, I assumed it was just a bit of overflow from the change.

I then noticed a over the next few days the oil spillage was getting worse and it had started to stain the driveway.

I then tried to call Kwik fit for them to look at it, as per they do not ANSWER THE PHONE! If you are understaffed then that needs addressing. It's not my issue unfortunately.

I then called the head office number and made a complaint. The cars light came on for low oil, 4 days after a change.

To be fair the person at the head office number was fair, he took my details and passed them to the area manager Ian.

He also tried to call Chorley Kwik fit and they didn't answer for him either. Classic.

Long story short, the agreed for the car to be looked at again free of charge, turns out the filter they fitted was faulty and oil was leaking out heavily.

I won't be using Kwik fit again, a simple oil change has ruined my driveway and cost me money, I had to buy a small amount of oil so I can top it up and drive it to Chorley Kwik fit.

The staff at the centre are a bit unprofessional too and stand-offish. If you don't like your job change it, don't be rude to customers who pay your wages?

Again, big thanks to the head office for putting these "mechanic's" straight.

My car didn't start getting looked till 45 minutes - 60 minute after my appointment was due to start. I had my wife and 2 kids with me. I dropped the car off at 14:15 for the 14:30 appointment, went away and had a coffee, came back at 15:00 as instructed by the guy on the counter, to find they hadn't even started. I didn't get out of there till 15:40, with one annoyed wife and two bored and cranky kids

They ordered one and it was fixed that same day.

On 29th November, I brought my vehicle to Kwik Fit Chorley for a routine wheel alignment while waiting for my sister’s appointment at Chorley Hospital. I drove approximately 20 miles from Preston to Chorley without any issues. There were no warning lights on the dashboard, and the car functioned perfectly. Upon arrival, Jack, a Kwik Fit employee, drove my car from the parking area into the workshop without any incident. I waited in the customer area for an hour and a half with no communication from the staff about the status of my car. I was Concerned about the delay, I approached Jack, who informed me that the car’s steering system had become faulty, and multiple warning lights had appeared on the dashboard during their handling of the vehicle. This was shocking, as I had handed over a fully functional car with no faults. Jack explained that the car would require ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) recalibration, which could only be done at Kwik Fit Bury. Initially, the manager, Matt, attempted to make my insurance cover the cost of transportation to Bury. I refused, asserting that the damage occurred while the car was in Kwik Fit’s care. After extensive discussions, Kwik Fit Chorley agreed to arrange transportation themselves. The trailer driver unnecessarily delayed the journey, citing navigation issues despite having a satnav. Upon arrival at Kwik Fit Bury, the driver acted unprofessionally by swearing at me without provocation. The driver also took it upon himself to diagnose my car using a diagnostic machine, which was not his role. The delay left me without transportation, causing me to miss work due to the high cost of alternative options like taxis or public transport. After several complaints, Kwik Fit finally arranged a hire vehicle through Enterprise. However, even this required multiple extensions due to their continued failure to resolve the issue. Furthermore, I look after my elderly parents especially my father who is under care and has frequent hospital appointments. Consequently, the use of my vehicle is a must as I take my parents to the drs, hospital and pharmacies. I also help with other essential needs such as shopping and frequenting the mosque. This is further proven as on the day this incident occurred i was the person who took my sister to her hospital visit.The area manager, Ian, displayed a dismissive and unhelpful attitude. Despite clear evidence that the damage occurred while the car was in Kwik Fit’s care, Ian refused to accept liability. His unwillingness to acknowledge Kwik Fit’s responsibility forced me to consider bearing the repair costs myself, which is unacceptable given the circumstances. Adding to the distress, Ian threatened to revoke the hire vehicle provided to me, stating I could only keep it until Friday, 13th December. After that date, I would have to pay out of my own pocket for a replacement, even though the delay and need for a hire vehicle were directly caused by Kwik Fit’s negligence.

Average service on line, couldn’t help with a Kwik fit. Didn’t seem to want to help and get business?
Tried to get a quick fit today but no attendance in reception and couldn’t wait for somebody to eventually show up. Employ a receptionist to take charge of the front office and report missing exit door handles. Come on team this is a vital health and safety issue…!

Work completed , excellent job.but customer service needs to be better. Sat for 15 mins in waiting room. No one asked, or acknowledged we were there. Found this disappointing 😔
