I made an online reservation for a tyre change and visited the Kwik Fit service center. The process was smooth, and the staff at the office were polite and professional. The tyre service was completed in less than an hour, and they also carried out a free alignment check. Overall, it was a positive experience with great service and competitive pricing

Don’t even want to give a 1 star after the experience I have just encountered. Went in to get my tyre changed when the employees have tired telling me that one of the nuts are crossed threaded when it wasn’t like that when I took it in as I watched them cross thread the nut and saw the employees face change when it had happened. The employees was very rude and tried to put the blame on to the company of the car and me when this problem has never happened before coming to Kwik fit. They have now sent me (a pregnant woman) and a child away with one less nut in the wheel. Now I have left my car in East Grinstead as I didn’t feel safe enough to drive the car because I don’t know if they have put the wheel on correctly. I was charged £134 for a service where I was getting abuse from the manager for something I have not done and the employee has done his self.

Recently done an MOT at this center and all went through without a hitch - a person handling reception was outstandingly friendly and welcoming - even much more so than something I have got from a brand dealership.

The web booking system is also surprisingly way ahead of Nissan and Skoda ones I used - pleasantly surprised. All smooth, slick and no unnecessary paperwork or calls required.

I arrived at Quick fit 5 minutes early, only to be told 10 minutes later that their new ramps were too high for the (factory standard) car. I would have thought that one of the biggest MOT centres might have ramps to fit one of the most common cars in the UK, or at least give me the heads up whilst booking the appointment. I was told that I could go to Uckfield or Crawley . Not recommended at all waste of time !

Great experience very friendly I needed a new tyre and wheel alignment and they were happy to fit me in today they checked my car and gave me a call to confirm quote which I was happy with and had the work done in less than an hour! With not many places open on a Sunday and needing my car for work I can't thank them enough! Will definitley be using in the future

I usually take my vehicle elsewhere for any work required and I’m always left happy with the work carried out and the service provided.

On this occasion I couldn’t use my usual place as my MOT was due to run out in less than a week and they couldn’t fit me. I had a ring around other local garages and Kwick Fit had available on the day I had time to sort it out so I went with them. I was a little hesitant to do so as I’ve heard bad things from friends & family who have visited previously but I thought I’d judge for myself.
( Now I can see why they weren’t booked up).

The tester who done the MOT I found overly stern and to be honest quite obnoxious, I think he needs to learn some people & customers service skills. They failed my vehicle due to ‘Anti- roll bar linkage ball joint being excessively worn’ which I was quite surprised by considering I had a full service done only a few weeks ago and anything that needed doing was done then including 2 new tyres, new brake pad and discs, track rod ends replaced and I also had the tracking reconfigured.

I have since taking it elsewhere for a second opinion and have been informed that they aren’t excessively worn, in fact barely worn and it should have been put down as an advisory at a push. Feel like the guy just had a issue with me and was looking for a reason to fail me to be honest. I’m having the MOT redone elsewhere next week as I would rather pay another garage than go back there for a retest even though it’s free.

I’m not usually the type to bother leaving reviews, especially negative ones but I felt the need on this occasion as I want people to know and hopefully I can save a few people for the same bad experience. Strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

Site appeared desperately short staffed with one person answering the phone (constantly), dealing with walk in customers and being a mechanic.
He spent no more than 3minutes at my vehicle (I was there over an hour) so I assume an aircon regas is as simple as plugging a machine in to my car ?!

1. They say they will call once MOT is done or work is done they never call you back. I had to call they would say 'oh your cars ready'. Unnecessarily i am waiting for 2 hours or so for something that doesnt need to take long genuinely felt they always forget.
2. They forget to do works. I asked to get tyres fixed with mot they said they will do it, they forgot when i came to collect the car.

Staff are kind. But effiency and professionalism is not good. Just feel they dont let you know when work is done and forget to do works...literally unless you sit there in the reception does the work get done. Not the first time i experienced this....
