Took my 2011 renault clio for its annual M.O.T . Received a phone call approximately 2 hours later to inform me that the car had failed, and that in order to put everything right it was going to cost me just under £500.00. As the car itself is only actually worth about £500 i was considering just scrapping it and buying another. However I asked them to go ahead and repair everything needed to pass the M.O.T.

They said they couldn't do it that day and to bring it in 4 days later. One of the things needed to pass (so I was told) was new wiper blades. I took the car back 4 days later and paid the almost £500.

They did the work needed (fixed clips on roll bar, changed wiper blades and fitted a few bulbs)

They then called me to say it had failed AGAIN!!! as it needed a new wiper motor!

This had not been mentioned at all in the original test.

Not only did I need a new wiper motor, but kwik fit DO NOT offer this service. I was told back Jack (the manager and nice guy) that there was a garage nearby who may be able to do this for me.

I now have to wait another 4 days to get one fitted and shell out another £145.00

Had i known in the first place that this would be the case for sure I would have scrapped the car

Absolutely fantastic service.
Had a puncture just up the road and limped in without any notice.
On my way with two new back tyres (they were near the limit anyway - no pushing for extra sales - my choice) within half an hour.

The service I received was exceptional. I was in a panic as was on a long journey from Oxfordshire to Liverpool. Having two tyres that needed replacing due to the fact they had been dangerously repaired was not what I needed but I was told what was happening, kept up to date and felt looked after. Rick and Liam were exceptional (I hope I have remembered names correctly here as really want them to be recognised).
