Mike Nelson managed to squeeze me in for work on my car because it had failed it's MOT elsewhere. My car hadn't failed previously but I understand the car is getting older so at some point work would need to be done. I was pleased with his explanation and provided me with a quote beforehand. The quote was over 50% cheaper than my own regular garage. Which is unbelievable value for money. The work was completed in day. I didn't require a investigation completed so it was removed from the bill. Overall I was extremely happy with the service and honesty. Absolutely recommend.

My husband arrived 15 minutes early for our car MOT check and when enquiring how long it would be, he was bluntly told well you weren't booked in for another 15 minutes... Yet there several mechanics stood yapping at the time. He was told he would be called if any issues, then he returned to pick up the car and it had failed, despite no call.
We were quoted over £600 in parts, plus labour (we were told a whole day), but advised we would get a free retest if we come back.
We took the car to a local garage who completed all of the work, an additional bulb and a whole new chargeable retest for £350. This happened a couple of years ago when the same garage quoted me £550 for a complete power steering replacement, I took it locally and just a part was replaced for £130.
I have finally learnt my lesson - other than an emergency tyre, never again!

We come here to get my tyre plugged as I went over a nail and it needed sorting as we’re away on holiday. The one man that was working met us with disrespect and was refused service after we had explained for the second time that my car is on mobility and the contract states that they couldn’t refuse service as we turned up within enough time, he then said that we were going to force him to do it anyway so he has no choice. We were made to wait an hour before he had come and got the car to fix the tyre and he was very rude to me and my family and I have never been treated like that at any other kwik fit in the country. I didn’t get chance to get his name but he was tall possibly in his 40s. I’ve had friendlier service at a dodgy garage in the back of an alleyway.

After spending an awful amount of money with National Tyres next door due to availability and last minute notice, I noticed on the way home they hadn’t balanced my tyres. Refusing to do so quoting “it won’t fall off anyway so don’t worry”, I quickly headed next door at 17:45 no less, on a Friday. Kwickfit was more than happy to help especially as I seemed shook up that my wheel was violently shaking and NT didn’t seem to care. 5 mins later a very very helpful, friendly chap called Ash, quickly sorted the balancing out on my new tyres with no questions or problems, very happy to help and not judgmental at all. He promptly informed me that the balancing was out by more than 4x what it should’ve been, and was glad to help.
Friendly, helpful, honest. You literally saved my holiday Ash! Highly recommend for any service and anyone in need. Great guys down there, especially Ash! Cheers guys!

Very friendly and accommodating. I turned up not long before closing time with a puncture changed my tyre were willing to stay past closing if need be . My tyre normally needs to be ordered in as not always in stock but they had one luckily.

We went as a drop in without an appointment 30 mins before they closed, as we got a puncture on the way to our weekend away. They fit us in there and then and were able to offer a repair. They saved our weekend plans and we are very grateful!
