Can't recommend Mind The Mac highly enough - they combine absolutely top notch technical skills (they have a couple of technicians) with all round care. And a shop with a great name. I came to them cos my Mac screen was broken and they found two different options for me - one if I wanted to replace with a brand new screen from Apple - or one to use a refurbished screen (which I went for as it was a lot cheaper). I have used Mind the Gap twice and both times had a hugely positive experience. Sam very kindly dealt with my mobile phone problems. The last time with the help of a professional engineer. I had to leave my phone with them for an hour and was given a spare phone in case I needed to make a call. Don’t be put off by the slightly shabby exterior - inside sits really professional technicians. Prices are very competitive too.

Can’t rate mind the Mac highly enough. Stayed open late to see me in my desperate hour when a dodgy plug had fried my new phone, organised an immediate replacement handset, spent 2 weeks getting to the bottom of what had gone wrong and fixing my phone - Great communication all the way along and a promise that you only pay of the phone is fixed. I had a fantastic experience with Mind The Mac. My daughter's laptop wasn't starting, but they quickly fixed it and didn't charge me. He suggested upgrading the hard drive to an SSD for better speed and was incredibly accommodating when we needed the upgrade done quickly. Despite a family emergency causing a delay, they went out of the way to finish the job on a Saturday so my daughter could use the laptop for an important interview.
