Had an MOT compliance test done few days ago. They failed me because of rear windows was showing 86% tint which is not right as my vehicle is factory fitted with tint rear windows direct from Mercedes. I did contacted Vale of white horse council regards this matter and they told me to go back to them and explain that the vehicle can have the compliance certificate because we use the vehicle a chauffeur and we hold exemption as well.
Went back to the garage. Explained everything as i mentioned above but the lady at the reception was absolutely rude. Again I put it her on phone with council and she started to twist the situation completely different of what i explained to her.
In mean time while she was on the phone with council another young arrogant guy came shouting and telling me to sit down and not move from the chair. Not sure why he started doing that as I was not swearing or shouting, I was only explaining to her the situation I have respect for the old lady. I do feel sorry for Martin as he is very hard working but the rest of the team are disgrace and very arrogant. Hope they don’t any problem with foreigners. At the end council told them that they should issue me the compliance test certificate( MOT)so I was right. I have 3 vehicles and have been going g there for more than 6 years but will never go there again, something have happened to that place.

I had something that needing fixing fairly urgently and when I first called, despite not being able to book my car in for a week, the receptionist recommended other garages and gave me their numbers which I thought was incredibly helpful - in this situation the priority was getting my car fixed, not getting it booked in specifically with them.
In the end I did book it in with them and they were very good. Quickly fixed the problem and kept me updated the whole time on estimated price. When collecting the car they helpfully noted some advisories to keep in mind for things that may need looking at soon which was good.
Overall, really good value and friendly, professional staff.

Following an initial chat with Alison (their lovely receptionist), I explained the issues I was having with my vehicle which Alison noted and promised to get back to me with a quote that same day - I heard back within less than two hours! They were able to book my car in the following week and the work was carried out on the same day that we agreed. They are extremely reasonably priced, reliable and friendly - highly recommended!

I have been bringing my car to this garage for three years, both for MOT and servicing, and I am quite satisfied with the quality of the work as well as the pricing. They were not able to deal with more complex issues (hence only the 4 stars), but they were honest with it and never charged me for any investigation that they could not solve. Extremely professional and polite people. My car had an MOT here , they were recommended by a taxi driver. Even with the Covid 19 pressure around they managed to book my car, the lady in the office and the whole team especially Ken are very caring and polite.
They have all the equipment very clean , functional and tidy. I sat and observed their work ethics. Ken explained to me the work car might need before the next MOT. I really appreciate that as it gives you time to set aside some funds ,for the work should the need arise.
I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Thanks again to my taxi driver who told me about them.

Excellent service as always. Booked my car in for MOT and annual service. They rang me to say it didn't really need a service due to low mileage since last year - very impressed as they could have just done it and I'd have been perfectly happy.
