I took my iPhone 12 to Mobile Master yesterday about midday to repair a broken back glass. They told me to bring it to them any time tomorrow and it would be ready in 1 hour max, and would cost £60-£65.
So I went back first thing today when they opened and was told it would be ready between 2pm and 3pm. When I said that he had told me that it would take 1 hour max he said that they since had a load of jobs come in.
I left it with him and he said he would call when it was ready. About 2.30pm I hadn’t heard anything so I rang them and he said it was ready to collect.
The repair was fine, but the back glass was a bit mucky and didn’t look ‘as good as new’ as promised. Furthermore when I went to pay I was charged £80 and not £60-£65 as quoted.
I only went to them as they could do it in 1 hour and the price quoted was reasonable. If I had known they were going to charge more and take longer, I would have gone to one of the other repair shops on the high street who were cheaper.
I will be wary of using them again without getting something in writing!

These guys are great. So very helpful and full of useful information. I have bought 3 phones from them & not been disappointed. They had a cheap simple one just needed for text messages, an easy to use for mum and a reconditioned smart phone for hubby.

Took my iPhone 13 Pro Max in with a severely damaged battery that was swelling and a broken charging port. The top top man there had it done and dusted in 45 minutes. Absolutely superb service, super friendly. Highly recommend. I’ll be using them in the future for sure. Thank you brother. 😎👊🏽🫶

I turned up at the shop around 11am with a broken reverse side of an iPhone 13.
Was told it would take 1 hour to fix. Perfect service. Very happy with the fix and very polite owner and staff. Would highly recommend to get your devices fixed here. Thank you.

I phoned the number attached to the Google Web search result, and was immediately answered by a polite gentleman who was able to inform and advise me regarding their phone battery replacement service. I subsequently went into the store the next day and within 45 minutes they were able to replace the phone battery, with no damage.

I was very impressed with the service they provided, and would recommend them to anyone needing a phone battery replaced, for a newer model phone, in Newbury or surrounding area.

Great service! My iPhone 6S plus had damaged charger port and water damage. Mums phone also damaged/cracked screen and all of this (port changed, new battery and new phone screen) was done in under an hour. Very good prices and really friendly nice staff/owner Pal Sethi. Highly recommend!
