The people who run this shop are lovely.
I have been coming to this shop on and off for about five years and have always received excellent service with good attention to detail and I always feel that I am getting good value for money.
I bought my current phone from them when my previous phone needed upgrading and it has always worked perfectly.
Thank you to the people working here - a great combination of attention to detail, excellent value for money and respect for all customers.
I will continue to visit the shop as long as they remain in business, which by rights should be forever!

Staff in the shop were unprofessional and spoke to us like we were children, raised his voice and interrupted us many times. Took parts out of my device without telling me, only realised once I spoke to Apple engineer in Cambridge. They sellotaped parts back together also without informing us. I recently had a terrible experience with the laptop repair service at mobile store. I brought my laptop in multiple times, hoping to get it fixed, but each visit just led to more frustration.

First off, there were missing parts after the repairs, which was incredibly disappointing. I expected my laptop to be returned in working order, but instead, I found it incomplete. On top of that, some of the parts that were replaced were just sellotaped over, which felt like a quick and lazy fix rather than a proper repair.

To make matters worse, the customer service was awful. The staff seemed uninterested in helping and didn’t communicate clearly about what was happening with my laptop. Overall, I would not recommend this store for repairs. It’s been a hassle, and I’m left with a laptop that still isn’t working properly.

Superb service: I could not charge my phone so took it in. They said it could cost £40-50 to repair. I went back to pick it up and it was only a £25 charge to clean out the charging point. That impressed me as they could easily have asked me for what they quoted. Second, I recently broke my screen and brought it. They repaired it quickly and at a reasonable price for £59. I highly recommend this business for broken phones.

I recently had a terrible experience at mobile store tech repair hitchin. I feel compelled to share. I took my MacBook in for a minor repair, and what I got back was completely unacceptable. Not only did they return my laptop with missing screws, but they also had the audacity to put Sellotape inside it without my permission! This is not only unprofessional but also a blatant disregard for my property.

To make matters worse, they handed me a bag filled with the parts they removed without even asking if I wanted them back. It felt like they were trying to hide their mistakes instead of being transparent about what was done. I expected a level of service that respects customers and their devices, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and cheated. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable service.

These guys fitted new batteries in an old phone and an old iPad, giving them a new lease of life. Nice one. 😀
They also fitted a screen saver on my phone, and did a great job - much better than I could do! Recommended for repairs and servicing of old tech.

It’s important to support local business and I have used The Mobile Store to repair a mobile phone. However, when looking for a screen repair on my son’s laptop, I came away with more problems than I started with.
There was confusion about the screen, the motherboard, battery life. Whenever I spoke to the store, there was always something different wrong.
I found the lack of transparency astonishing and, quite frankly, upsetting. In the end, I asked for a refund and my son’s £800 laptop back in defunct condition.
I’d say stick to mobile phones before you try to repair the big stuff.
