Paul did a brilliant job repairing my iPhone screen so that it could be sold on at the best price. It was described as ‘unsellable’ before the work began and I was able to get an ‘as new’ price for the phone once Paul had finished. Will definitely be back if any other repairs are required. 👍🏻

First visit was to get my Peugeot 108 keyless sorted as wasn’t recognised. Paul sorted quick easy and a great price, a lot less than Peugeots £99, I changed car and needed it sorting, it was a tedious job but well sorted now. Thanks Paul

If I could rate this 0 I would do.

This is the single biggest waste of my time so far. Took a iPhone to be repaired and was told it would be £60 to replace the screen.

Picked it up a week later, after 2 screens and it had no charge to test it. Paid and was told it was tested, if it was not working once turned on it would be sorted.

Still not working so took it back they had another go. Drove back and collected and it still did not work. Asked for my money back. Was told it might not be the screen but they would try another.

Drove back again and collected for it still not to work. Asked for my money back and was told that they would put the smashed screen back on so I could just claim on my insurance.

Was then told he would meet me with the phone and money. Never turned up! In the end I was told that we needed to come to a compromise as he could not give me all my money back because he had spent time working on it that needed paying for.

Got £40 back out of the original £60 in the end, basically paid £20 to drive to his shop and back 7 times.

I know of 3 people that have had bad experiences. Avoid at all costs.

I gave my iphone6 to Paul September last year to repair. I went back a week later. He had not been able to repair it but had left it at home for safe-keeping. A couple of days later I returned to discover he had been broken in to and my phone stolen. About 4 weeks (early Nov) I called in to see what the score was to be told that he wasn’t insured against theft (had assumed all businesses carried insurance).He promised me a like for like replacement which to be honest was always going to be difficult as he had not been able to diagnose the original fault. Time passed and I bought a replacement phone. I called him Jan 2017 to enquire about the phone and apparently he had one that possibly had a faulty motherboard which he considered a suitable replacement He said he was waiting for a new battery to arrive so that he could try the phone. I waited a few more days before ringing him again. Eventually at the end of Jan I called in and he presented me with the phone. I took it home and attempted to charge it. After 2 days I gave up. I text him to tell him that I had decided to sell it for spares or repair and just wanted to confirm that the battery was good before I advertised it. Apparently the battery he put in had been lying around the workshop for ages and was probably “as flat as a tack” in his words and certainly not new as I was originally told. I have now taken it back to him and am going to try my own insurance company to see if I can get a replacement which Paul says a lot of others who lost their phones have done. During this whole episode I have had to do all the chasing and now it would appear am left with no phone at all as a result. No apologies and no explanation as to why knowing he held no insurance he left valuable phones on his premises overnight when he could have simply put them in a box and taken them home as he originally claimed. Something does not add up so draw your own conclusions... personally I would not trust this guy as far as I could throw him. No insurance, no customer care, no conscience no bloody idea !! over to you trading standards.....good luck.

I gave my ipad cracked screen for repair. It was repaired and returned after two weeks. Once we got home we realised that the screen was not glued correctly and it came off on one side. The finger recognistion button as fake and it was not working. The entire ipad screen stopped working. Took it back and informed him of the situation, he said it is easily fixed as it is just gluing it in place, we stressed that we need it urgently as we need it for job. He said come back in a week. Its been two weeks today and when ever we call its the same thing ' too many back logs will try to finish next day'. We finally took it back unfixed today and took it to yorkphonerepairs on tadcaster road. It was fixed in two hours for the same amount of money. Please do not use this Mr. Mobile repairs as you will be wasting your time and money.

My computer was in a bad state in that there were several I.D's competing and no idea how to fix it. However, I had dealt with Paul before and from that had faith in him and proved right. It is now running perfectly and the charge was most reasonable.

What a find, this gentleman can mend anything, mobile phones, garage door keys, car keys his talents are unbelievable, thank you, I will be back. What a lucky place the people of Acomb have got on their doorstep.

Waste of space, paid £75 for anew charge point and screen got a dodgy charge point and nearly a year on still waiting for a new crew, just keep getting fob off so now I just gave up going and asking
