Just off Balls Corner island in Newton Abbot, I had wheel alignment done on my car here.
The online booking was easy and the service prompt and friendly.
Large waiting area whilst your car is on the ramps but could do with a coffee machine.

Spoke to Gary (very polite and friendly) on the phone yesterday and he helpfully suggested I bring it in next day to get the brakes checked. This morning I took my Chevrolet matiz into their shop and spoke to jack at the counter who was super polite and efficient when taking my details down. They diagnosed the problems which the previous garage I went to had completely missed and gave me a price and time estimate then and there. They ordered the parts and fixed it all same day which was incredible service. Car feels completely different brakes are totally fixed thank you to the whole team ❤️💛❤️💛

We recently dropped in our car for an MOT and to investigate some suspension knocking sounds, grateful that they could book us somewhat last minute.
After failing the car because of a worn suspension ball on the lower wishbone, I was recommended that it was advisable to not only change the whole wishbone to preempt potential failure of the bushes on the rest of the wishbone, but to also have the other wishbone on the other side replaced as the tracking will be too hard to align if just one is replaced.
As this (worn suspension ball joint) is a problem that I've had many times before on multiple previous cars, I asked if it's possible just to replace the one ball joint, as I consider it a wearing part, intended for semi regular replacement. I was told that this was very hard to do and the pressing out of the old ball joint had a good chance of damaging the wishbone. I was left confused by this as it had never been a problem on multiple different cars at several different garages. I almost went with the replacement of one of the wishbones, until I checked in with a (very good) garage that I've been going to for years. They didn't think it would be a problem to just repair the ball joint, so I took the car away and swallowed the MOT cost as it would need doing again. They (good garage) fixed the ball joint today and did the MOT, as well as fixed the bonnet latch that was very loose and picked up on a couple more advisories that this garage missed. £202 all in including MOT & the VAT.
On top of the £54 for the MOT, it would have been £650ish for both wishbones, I'm thinking that would be ex vat, but I didn't clarify this with Gary because by that point I was pretty annoyed at what I felt as having so much time, energy and money wasted. I was sorry to get grumpy with Jack at the till when picking up the car. He looks like a decent lad who likely has to put up with a lot of grumpy customers. I hope my grump wasn't too stressful for you Jack.
Well anyways. That was my experience, I'll leave you to make up your own mind, but I've made up mine I'm afraid.

Very friendly, reassuring and welcoming staff, unfortunately the last few years I haven't had much luck with garages, though they did have luck with me, in me paying them more than what the car is worth, so today naturally I was full of anxiety thinking here we go again, especially since normally I'm met with grumpy people who talk at me (this might be because I'm woman), but today was definitely a more positive experience and I will be coming back for all my car needs. See you in 2025!
Other few positive notes: easy parking, clean (yes I know it's a garage lol, but I have been to a few where health and safety was not on their list of priorities for their staff or customers), everything was done promptly, easy booking, reasonable priced!!!
