My phone bled and I popped in there to get it repaired. They advised me of the options and TBH I would be better getting a new one. What a lovely couple running it. Very helpful, what to buy, what not to buy and where and where not to buy it. Will definitely be using them when my replacement phone needs a repair (though hopefully not).

Called first thing this morning to arrange help for my elderly grandfather who had locked himself out of his iPhone. Family had tried and failed to reset it using a computer. Very professional, came here with a faulty USB C on S22+. Guys fixed it within a week. Another issue cropped up and fixed that within a week too. Had phone for 2+ weeks now and no issues at all. Very reasonable pricing as well. Would recommend over going to somewhere like EE directly.

Excellent service this morning at this friendly family run business.
On explaining the problem with my phone (charging port) it was quickly explained what the 2 problems could be. Thankfully it was the cheaper of the 2, & was soon sorted all for the princely sum of a fiver ! Great service with a smile, & nice to be not ripped off for a change ! I even got to give them some decorating tips (my job) whilst i was there, highly recommended !

Having had to buy a new phone 4 weeks ago, I was miffed when I dropped it two days later and chipped the screen. The place nearest to me for getting it fixed wanted to send it away and said it would take about a week.

Scroll forward 2 weeks and I'm in Newton Abbot taking my mother for an airing and whilst sitting in the square around 2.30 pm having a cup of coffee and a snack and I saw the advert for this store. I phoned, they had the right screen in stock and I arrived about 15 minutes later. They said it would be ready by the time they closed, but as we had to get scooters back to shop mobility by 3.15 they said they'd get on to it and get it finished as fast as they could. As it was, it was finished about 3 minutes after we'd returned the scooters, and by then I was able to park close enough to be able to walk back to them and collect my phone.

Not a cheap repair, but also exactly what was quoted an hour or so earlier and not a shoddy repair with generic parts, either. I have no quibble about the cost - getting someone to repair my last phone cheaply is what caused me to have to buy the A12 in the first place.

A slight snag when I got back to mum's to find I'd got no sound at all from the phone, although I was able to make and receive calls with no trouble. A brief return the next day got the issue sorted out in a few minutes - a minor issue and we had a good laugh, so I'm not complaining.

I would recommend Newton Phone Repairs to anyone who is in the area. Don't expect eBay prices, but you will get branded parts and if your phone is worth repairing, it's worth paying for the branded and authorized parts.
