I had a monitor that needed repairing but which was no longer supported by the manufacturer. Odyssey evaluated the problem for free, identified some capacitors that needed replacing and charged me significantly less for parts and labour than a new monitor.

Some repairers would have just looked at circuit board-level replacements and advised me that either the parts were no longer available or that repair was not viable when compared to the cost of a new monitor but Odyssey went the extra distance with a successful component-level repair.

Their service was fast (a few days), friendly and reasonably-priced and I thoroughly recommend them.

Have used them in the past and they have been great. Recently however the repair sent to them was beyond terrible, it seems they have changed their staff and they cant repair anymore.

Item was received back with screws missing, cables internally not re-attached and not powering up, certainly not the state it was initially shipped in. I was re-quested to ship the item back to them so they could put the screws back and reconnect cables. Once the item was delivered, tested again, still failed to power and more damage done the laptop which they refused to admit too.

Would strongly recommend avoiding them and look for someone more suited or risk damaging a potentially working device even further, you have been warned.

Having had cause to use the repair services of a sister company for a product covered by warranty, when my PC hard drive developed a fault and needed replacing Odyssey was an obvious choice. Faultless, personal, friendly service from the initial phone call. Delivered PC (as live reasonably near) Friday lunchtime, ready for collection 9.30am Tuesday following. Have plugged it in, with hard drive cloned - so absolutely everything is up and running perfectly, incl IE11 and MS Outlook. Big relief, and will recommend Odyssey to my local contacts - and will use them again if a computer needs tlc. Highly recommend their services, and price of repair was excellent value.

Initially I left a good review for this company. However, I have drastically changed my view of them. I agree with the review left by Tahir Ahmed below. I took my computer into them again. Although they fitted a new graphics card, they did not set up my computer correctly and I had to return it to them. The manager was so incredibly rude to me, and behaved in such a misogynistic manner and showed himself in his true colours. His staff were were polite, but he seemed to think he could be as rude as he chose. When I got my computer home I realised there was no sound to it, and is working so slowly. Prior to this second repair my computer was very fast. Pretty pointless returning it for a third time. Another posting on here refers to their computer being left with an additional fault. Shame I had to leave even one star for them. I am not the only one on these review who found them rude. They should remember without their customers they would have no jobs. I have since found another company and shall be taking my computer to him. Very polite and values his customers, unlike Odyssey.

Brilliant service. Was recommended by my own IT provider Manta9 to use Odyssey for a laptop repair. I dropped it off Monday morning and it was ready Tuesday afternoon. Great people, good value - great repair. Thanks!

Nice guys. They give a free quote to fix and if they cannot fix - there's no charge. Don't know what their fix rate is like and for this reason, and that they're a bit slow (must be busy - a good sign), a star dropped.

For no cost they assessed a repair on my nearly 10 year old monitor (long shot). Unfortunately it was beyond economic repair but they disposed of it free of charge, saving me a 2 hour round trip.
