Went in with a strange noise near my car wheel. Called in the morning, and they saw me in the afternoon. Really nice and polite staff - they took a look at my car and realised there was a stone inside the wheel mechanism and didn’t charge me. So kind, will definitely come back again.

I am very disappointed with the service!
I have been bringing my car here for about two years for MOTs and various repairs. Over this period, I’ve had to return to the garage multiple times for what I was told were minor issues. Most recently, I paid £600 for a repair that was supposed to involve ordering and replacing a seal. However, two months later, the same issue reoccurred. I took my car to a different garage for a second opinion, and they discovered that the previous repair had not been properly done. Instead of a new part, they found a temporary fix using silicone.

This experience has led me to question the integrity of the service I received over the past two years. Were the issues genuinely fixed, or was I repeatedly charged for poor-quality work? It’s frustrating and disappointing to feel like I’ve been scammed, and I would caution others to be very careful when considering this garage for repairs.

I had the garage change the handbrake cables on my girlfriend’s Honda Jazz 3 months ago, however the rear brakes started to bind again. I called up and they let me bring the car in first thing next morning.
The mechanic put up the car on the lift and showed me the problem was a sticky calliper (even though I had it replaced at another garage not long ago, as well as the pads and discs) and not the cables they changed - which worked fine and were adjusted correctly.
He sprayed the pivot with graphite spray and it released immediately, confirming the above.

Very professional, honest and did the job out of goodwill.
Highly recommended mechanic with integrity.
