Super easy to arrange an appointment over WhatsApp. Will let me know in good time he was going to be overrunning on the day of my original appointment so we were quickly able to rearrange. He managed to fix the issue (replacing a charger port that was charging but not transferring data) meaning I can use my beloved Apple CarPlay once more. Avoid at all costs. Will takes advantage of elderly customers. Con artist! My grandparents sent their iPhone off for repair due to it not turning on. He had the phone for weeks, they tried chasing it up multiple times and it was excuse after excuse. When they finally got it back it had more problems than it did to start with. It went back to him again, and once again he had it for weeks with no updates. They eventually got fed up (I’m talking him having it for a couple months), and told him to just give the phone back. They finally got the phone back (still unfixed) and it was missing several items that it was originally sent off with. The SIM card missing, the SIM card tray missing, the phone case missing and now a phone that won’t read a SIM card and overheats! When giving my grandparents the money back, he gave them £10 short of what they paid, he said he didn’t have another £10. This is where I got involved. I messaged him arranging to collect the £10 several times and guess what I got for the missing items and money… excuses after excuses. He arranged a time and day for me to come collect the goods, I turn up at his house and he’s not in! He then said he would bank transfer me the money and return the goods through my grandparents door, and guess what…. More false promises and excuses to why it’s not been done and now I am being completely ignored. I will be taking this further and contacting trading standards and report the missing SIM card as stolen to the police. For all I know he could be using the SIM as he knows it has credit on it or for fraud purposes. It is a shame that my grandparents have been taken advantage of and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else!
