I had the unlucky experience of dealing with quick change mobile tyre services on Sunday 11th I had a tyre blow out on the M25 between Amersham and Watford exits , luckily I managed to pull over onto the hard shoulder whilst on the phone to the AA the Quick change mobile tyre van pulled in front of my car and I thought they were going to be my guardian angels and save the day , first off they checked to see if they had a replacement tyre which they did but would need to go back to the garage to collect , sadly I didn’t have my wheel nuts with me but they said it should be fine and proceeded to try to remove my tyre , I asked how much the tyre would be and was quoted £120 which I thought was a lot but given the circumstances I wasn’t in a good position to argue , then they told me that whilst trying to remove my wheel nuts they broke their drill head I said that was unfortunate but didn’t hear him say it would add an extra £100 to the price bearing in mind it’s the M25 so very noisy I just thought he was saying I need to collect your tyre so he needed to go back to the garage to collect it leaving his colleuge to take the tyre off where we then waited about 25 mins till he returned with the new tyre he then came over to me with his card machine so I could pay for the tyre whilst his colleuge put the new tyre on when I zapped my phone on his machine it declined I said but the money is there I transferred £120 and it was in my account he then said no it’s £220 I said how is that possible that it could go from £120 to £220 he said but you said it was ok I replied I said it was ok for £120 not £220 he got very unpleasant to me threatened to take the tyre off and leave if I didn’t pay I was caught between a rock and a hard place so didn’t have much choice but I took a photo of his van and said I was very unhappy at the way he had behaved he did take £20 off the end price but still was not very nice towards the end I don’t recommend these guys who I thought were helping me out if a very difficult situation but ended up taking me for a ridiculous sum of money for a tyre that including vat would normally have cost £80 so just be careful what you agree to with this company not very impressed .sorry for the essay .ive read your reply you have not provided an invoice and I have confirmed with several mobile tyre fit companies and they do not charge this amount .

Excellent customer service, despite their busy schedule they manage to see me at a very short notice. I had a broken wheel nut and needed to remove it asap, so called Quick Change Mobile Tyres and they fixed it in no time at all.

Called RAC and they got quick change to get to me within 40mins great and fast work.

The guy who came out has scratched my Tesla wheel aero hub as he played it face down on the floor then was leaning on it.

The price was £195 for a budget but got me out of trouble that’s fine but for that price it was supposed to have new valve and balanced which wasn’t done.

Wheel nuts were then done up using only the gun and wasn’t torqued !

I know it needs to be a fast job on side of motorway but this is poor

Good service coped with awkward truck tyres without complaint even indulged my stupidity when I thought one of the tread patterns was going the wrong way (it wasn't) unfortunately I've since realised they didn't balance the new tyres so lose 2 stars . Must try harder.

Booked a mobile tyre fitting via RAC Tyres and was allocated Quick Change as the mobile fitter. As promised they came the next day and were in touch regarding timing, and were flexible to try to accommodate my restricted time slot. Service was quick and efficient! Would recommend.
