Received my watches back today from RepairsByPost. Fabulous job. I previously sent in a Jaguar watch (See my Previous Review) and was so impressed I sent in these 2 to get serviced, the date complication repaired and a good clean and polish and I’m over the moon. The White one is a Victorinox Chronograph and the Green is another Jaguar watch. I Hope the photos do them justice as they look Amazing. The process sending them is easy and you can get a door to door pickup & drop off tracked. The communications give you an estimate for the repair and if accepted an up to date progress report and the return is also carried out by Royal Mail. Everything was well packaged and I just had to sign as goods received.
If you love your watch, give them a shout.

I was pretty hesitant about sending my Steinhart Ocean One Vintage (even though it’s relatively low value at £350-£400) to Repairs by Post as they were a complete unknown quantity to me
After some mulling it over I took the plunge…and approximately 4 weeks later (inc turnaround time) I have a properly/thoroughly serviced/regulated watch, ultrasonic cleaned etc, back on my wrist
Any communication was promptly dealt with through the whole process, even down to a follow up phone call after I made an enquiry

Would I recommend RBP? In a word yes I would. Efficient, great customer service, AND at very reasonable cost

A detailed assessment of repairs and a firm estimate given before any work took place.
Communication was excellent and I received a frequent progress report from start to finish.

We are so pleased with the work done by Repairs By Post.
As you can see from the picture the watch is transformed to new again, than you so much.
We are not sure if my wife's grandad wore this watch when he went to France and Belgium in 1914 , or when he went back after being gassed at the Somme, this is the one reminder of him that she has. So thank you again.

A very clever business model.

I found the process of just being able to print a label and engage the services of RBP very easy and the communications were excellent. At each stage the staff ask for feedback and are happy to answer specific questions. The cost was higher for the repair than expected (over £120) so I had to decide if the watch was worth the effort. If you don’t want to proceed RBP will just return the watch. My only misgiving was the time the whole process took. It was 8 weeks from receiving a confirmation that my watches had been received until the repaired one was returned. Having been quoted and paid for a strap for the other (costing c£80) I was later advised that it wasn’t actually available from the supplier. I have, however, been given a likely date. Although the repaired watch is presently functioning, until some time has elapsed I can’t confirm if the repair has been successful in the longer term. Some information about the likely turnaround would have made me feel more comfortable.

Repaired my Torgoen watch for a very fair price - it was returned looking and functioning like a new watch. Communication was excellent throughout. Would definitely use Repairs by Post again for similar work - and will be recommending them to any of my contacts.
