We went to Robert Dyas in Amersham today,we brought a new hydro thing for the bath today and it looked cool and like it was a major improvement to our home.It had a tv so it was great watching how the product worked.Big store,well stocked and nice and clean.Zara at the checkout was really polite as well.Would highly recommend

Amazing shop if you want to buy home supplies, computer accessories, power tools, kitchen items/appliances, gardening tools, bathroom accessories, and more. Staff are very nice and helpful. They're particularly careful about age-restricted products such as harmful chemicals (drain de-cloggers, toilet cleaners, etc.) and knives/scissors (they don't let anyone handle them - an employee takes them to the counter for checkout). Overall, quite a nice shop with a wide range of products.

I like to shop on the high street as I like to see what I am buying and physically compare with alternatives. This store has a good selection and I usually manage to avoid Amazon as they have nearly everything I need. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly and helpful.

I am a regular customer of the Amersham branch of Robert Dyas and goodness knows our high street shops need our support. However, I ordered 3 x 77L storage boxes online (3for 2 offer £29.99 each sale price) because they did not have enough in store. They took a while to arrive but when they arrived one had a significant crack one of the corners. I called Amersham store and was told to contact customer service. I called and left a message but never received a call back. On 5th January 2019, I emailed them. I received an email back on 10th January from somebody named Matt saying "we would like to offer you a £15 refund". If you work out 2 x 29.99, it's a shade under £20 per box for 3 boxes, what a joke! There was no offer of exchange. I ordered the boxes because I needed them. I responded immediately saying I want an exchange and nothing less. It is now 12th January and I still have not heard any more. I will not be ordering online again. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! It puts me off using their store in protest .
