We have use Stanners electrical for a number of jobs around the house over the years.
This included fitting an air ventilation system in the house, installation of our garden lights and spots lights, front porch light sensor, plus correcting a couple of issues left by a previous electrician.

For our garden lighting, we went with Mick’s recommendation for the set up and what lighting to use. Very happy with the results.

Mick is trustworthy and competitively priced. His standard of work, tidiness, knowledge and level of professionalism is superb. He is always prompt and at hand to help or pop around if there any issues.

I have recommended him to my neighbour, friends and family, who now use him as their go-to electrician and I have no hesitation in recommending Stanners electrical to anyone else.

Had to call Stanners Electrical for a quite urgent problem with my heating system (during cold days). Mick promptly answered early Sat morning, came back to me late morning and investigated and fix the issue which was quite tricky to find out. I was recently let down by my usual electrician which meant there would have been a knock on effect with all the other work being carried out. I was concerned about trying to get another electrician at short notice as I always like to go for a trader that has been recommended.

I Googled local electricians in Kings Langley and found 'Stanners Electrical Ltd'. I was very impressed with peoples reviews so I rang the the company knowing the chances of availability at such short notice were low. However, when I rang Mick Stanbridge and explained my dilemma he was very sympathetic and helpful and yes, as I thought he was very busy.

He realised that I was upset and 'desperate' as my project would have been put back weeks and other traders would have been also let down.

He was currently finalising a job and wasn't sure what time he would be finished but as I lived local to him he was prepared to come 'after hours' to do the job ....the relief was unbelievable..

He phoned to confirm when he would be arriving...his customer care was excellent.

When he arrived I just knew from the moment I met him he was good.

He was reassuring, polite and very professional.

He did an amazing job, and his rates were very reasonable. The area that he worked in was left immaculate and the standard of work first class...I can't praise him enough.

Both my husband and I were so impressed with him that we are now going to use him for all our electrical work that needs doing.

Finding a competent electrician when renovating your home is a time consuming, nervous task. After a recommendation I chose Stanners Electrical and right from the off I knew I was in safe hands. The quote was prompt and accurate to the brief. Work consisted of extensive led lighting to interior and exterior, all electrical work for a newly built kitchen and bathrooms, all switches and sockets changed, some moved, consumer unit moved and replaced, underfloor heating, towel rails, cabinet lighting etc. I was given great advice and ideas about current trends and styles that worked within my budget. Mick Stanner was always polite, helpful and positive which helped enormously with the stress of coping with a huge renovation. The end result exceeded expectation and a year on from completion my family and I are enjoying an up to date beautifully lit home.

We were fortunate enough to have Mick recommended to us through our builder. Mick has completely overhauled the electrics in the old part of our house, as well as installed everything in our extension.

Having strangers in your house for building work can be stressful, however Mick was an absolute joy to have around: very professional and knowledgeable, but also friendly and amenable.

He offered advice, support and installation on a variety of things:
-external and internal lights, including motion sensor and security lights.
- new doorbell with cctv camera.
- WiFi/ Internet
- satellite tv cable connections
- all manner of electrical work including new circuit board, sockets etc.

It was all of the small touches that we really appreciated. For example I didn’t know what I wanted in some rooms, and Mick was great at offering options (considering budgets) and suggestions. He advised on tv installation (hiding the electrics by installing a pipe sunk into the wall) as well as measuring out a good place to hang my dyson vacuum in the utility room.

The man is an absolute gentleman, a consummate professional and a great electrician.

Seemed knowledgable, but had a bit of a superiority complex. Wasn’t willing to explain or talk through options properly. I was made to feel stupid for not understanding. Maybe it was me not being pro active enough and making him clarify everything. Still yet to find a competent and friendly tradesman. Always one or the other, or neither.
