The staff at STS Alton have been so helpful on a number of occasions, but yesterday they went the extra mile and managed to fit in a tyre replacement for me when they were clearly busy. They are also very friendly and positive. Very good ambassadors for the company!

Was told to come at a certain time to get a slow puncture repair. Rang on the off chance to get an earlier appointment as I became available earlier than expected . I was told that they couldn’t do it as a machine had broken . I asked if I was going to get a call to tell me they couldn’t fit me in due to the machine ‘ not working ‘. They said - when we would have got round to it . Appalling service . Not going to use again .

Took my work van in due to slow puncture guys were able to see me same day at short notice showed exact problem with tyre couldn’t be sorted due to needed authentication from work but they said no charge eve after changing for spare would happily recommend and go back well worth the 5 stars 🙂

I would highly recommend this garage! I needed an air con recharge and I’d been to a different garage (not locally) in the morning who had made out that doing the recharge would be difficult. I then had a Google and saw this garage had a slot in the afternoon so I called and asked them if they would be able to do it (after explaining what happened at the other garage). They were so kind and helpful and told me to take it down that afternoon, after a quick look the guy said he could do it for me no hassle (sorry didn’t get his name) and it would be done within an hour, which it was! Both guys working there were so accommodating, no hassle getting it done and overall polite. The working area was also tidy and clean. Definitely would go back!

Had 4 tyres replaced here. Got the car back with leaky unbalanced wheels. Steering wheel would shake above 60mph and 3 of my tyres would lose half of their air pressure every week. I moved out of the area so had no choice but to go to another shop to have this sorted. Turns out that they had balanced the wheels incorrectly and on top of that, they had just reused my old valves hence the leaky tyres.

Had to spend £65 to have it sorted! Avoid at all costs.

I would like to say how happy I was with the service from STS Tyre in Alton. I came without an appointment and my puncher was dealt with as soon as they had finished there present job. The work was done with a high level of professionalism and respect.

Had an appointment for 2 rear tyres at 8.30, when I arrived I was told that the website shouldn't have allowed me to book the slot as someone else had already booked it (it was a double booking) I was told I would need to wait atleast an hour if not more- not possible as I had my 2 year old with me (no other options) and needed to get to work, I felt the gentlemen was very unsympathetic, when I asked for a refund, was abruptly told "you'll have to ring customer services". When I did and explained the situation a lovely lady looked up on the system and said mine was the only booking for 8.30 and that I should not have been treated this way, she offered me another appointment- no thanks!

Having found a screw in my tyre, I went to STS without a booked appointment.

The guys couldn't have been more helpful, and repaired the tyre there and then.

Excellent job done and really friendly team on site. Would definitely recommend.
