My daughter has just bought her very first car from Sturgess in Anstey. She bought a lovely little Fiat 500, which was very reasonably priced. Before we collected the car, it was fully valeted. The seats originally had a few stains on from the previous owners which Sturgess managed to get out and some scuffs on the bodywork had been buffed out ready for collection. It looked just like a brand new car!! The service that we received from start to finish was incredible. The staff treated my daughter with respect and made her feel special and excited to buy her first car. They were very helpful and carefully explained the car buying process to her. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sturgess, particularly when buying a car for a young person.

Turned up to look at a car. Got a friendly welcome and made me feel at ease straight away even though I wasn't looking to buy at the time. Ended up buying the car in question and Lisa, Ben and the team were great from start to finish and couldn't do enough for you. Made the process of selling and buying an easy one.. Have confidence in Ben and the team that if I was to need help or advice late on I could go back and see them. Would highly recommend. Oh and love the car!!

AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COST. They sold me a faulty car just over a year ago and within a month of buying, it has been in the garage every month and they failed to provide the correct repairs needed. I say faulty car because the problem the car was having was a long term issue, once identified, so how can a month be classed as long term? I noticed the problem straight away and took it to them the month after I bought it. Liam was quick to sell the car to me and take my money but is nowhere to be seen now. After going from one place to another to get my car fixed Ben, the general manager, finally offered to replace my car for another. They assured me i would get a good deal due to the car being faulty, for a part exchange so i agreed to see what their offer was. I liked a car and was even willing to put some money on top. However, they depreciated my car value by half of what I paid a year ago, and bumped the price of the new car up by £500 and have the nerve to tell me 'oh the price has gone up as of this morning' when I questioned it. Even though the car is STILL on sale for the original price I saw it for. Ben and the team were not at all considering a good deal for the customer but instead were looking to see how they could benefit the garage further by extracting another substantial amount of money from me. This garage sell faulty cars and then don't want to take responsibility for their mistakes and make it out its your fault. I am stuck with a faulty car, not a cheap one at that either, and left with a hefty bill. I have now taken legal action against them and contacted local papers and social media to make sure that I can help other people not be in the same situation that I am in. Save your hard earned money and spend it somewhere where they actually care about you as a customer. Not here where they will do everything to take your money rather than rectifying their mistakes.
