I had an issue with I thought was a deteriorated battery on my Samsung tablet, so I called Talking Mobiles in Amersham and spoke to Terry. I asked him for a quote to replace the battery as I hadn’t used it for ages, and he advised to try a few things over the phone and then asked me to come over, as he had an idea what the issue was.

I arrived to a warm welcome and straight away he said it wasn’t the battery, it was the charging plug and lead and he then went on to explain in detail why? I got it home after purchasing the correct charger and now it works perfectly.

I was quoted by a local competitor in Amersham a week ago that it would cost me £100 and it would have to be sent away, no advice nothing just replace to the battery, and I paid £15, if that’s not expertise and great customer service, I don’t what is?

Thank you Terry and the team at Talking Mobiles Amersham, it was outstanding customer service as usual, if you have an issues with your phone, your tablet etc, don’t go anywhere else.

Also at an earlier visit there, when my iPhone battery was losing power at a rapid pace, they said it was down to software on the phone and not the battery, again saving me money, and they advised to take it back to where I bought it from, and that company had no choice other than to replace it after the expert advice I received, Talking Mobiles could have replaced the battery without advising me, and instead they gave me advice at no cost at all, absolutely brilliant customer service unlike some companies I could mention.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. The guys at Talking Mobiles in Amersham really helped me. I had an important family legal issue with a hearing imminently and I stupidly dropped my phone breaking it. The guys definitely went the extra mile and helped me get my phone sorted as quickly as possible. Also considering the level of service the cost was very reasonable. These guys are now my go to for anything phone etc repairs. Fantastic service.

I took my phone in the sea (very silly thing to do I now realise). Bluetooth stopped working as a result and I thought the damage was likely to be permanent.
